I never got that, like yeah it'll probably be hoarder at first with all the voice cracks, and you'll probably have to develope your technique to suit your new voice, but it's not like you lose a whole skill completely. I`m 4 months on testosterone rn and my voice cracks are very very bad atm just while talking. I`m a singer in two bands and I have to say it`s becoming very difficult to me working with the tone range that I`m able to sing atm. Some days I feel like I can't sing a single song good anymore... But it's not like I lost something or that I start to become a bad singer. It's just that I have to figure it all out again and I also tend to find new cool things that I can do with my voice so I guess it's just about practice and not sticking to your pre-t voice. Eventhough I really hope that I can get at least a bit higher again when my voice isn't cracking just as much as it does now.

This makes me less scared to go on T. Singing is my passion and I'm having a hard time figuring out if it's worth it to take T or not since it will mess it up for a while. Currently (pre T) I'm a contralto or counter tenor (c3 to c6) and I'm mostly okay with that range but I wish it were a bit deeper. I want to take T for the other affects more than for my voice, but I'm just scared to risk my tone and quality. Hey Noah, I know that you won't see this but I wanted to say that I really look up to you. I'm not Trans, but my big brother is. He has been having a really rough time, seeing as he is only 15 (I'm not super educated in this topic, so pls don't hate me) and can't get references for testosterone, or any surgeries. His dysphoria was super bad, and I could hear him crying almost every night, and it broke my heart. Once, he had me put on one of his binders, and it was so uncomfortable and I wanted to help him. Whether it be eventually paying for his surgeries, or even to the extent of taking all the dysphoria onto myself. I knew about you before he did, so I showed him your channel. I think it really helps him. Before he really had nobody to relate to, seeing as he didn't know anyone else that was trans. I'm just really thankful for you being here. You've helped my brother a lot, help me understand what my brother's going through even more, and you're really entertaining to watch. Thank you
