It folds hard when it’s dirty. Clean the sliding joints and dry lube it folds like a dream.

I read a lot of reviews saying the gci falls apart. Is it holding up?

Two years later and they're still our main chairs. I can see wear on the shoulder strap and one of the cup holders has a hole in it now. The way it collapses is a little wonky now compared to new, sometimes bends funny, but still works fine.

Yep, I missed that in this video. The Cascade Mountain Tech chair definitely takes a couple minutes to set up.
