Yeti tundra haul 👍🏽💪🏽 great review. When I first started looking for wheeled cooler I was looking at the igloo max cold 😅 and just decided to invest in a yeti tundra haul! Best decision. Thanks man

Too bad you measured the wrong temperature. Your cans are sitting in the ice / ice water, not the air. Water is a heat sink and if you measured the temperature in the ice or ice water, you would probably have a different outcome. What matters is how cold your contents stay, not what the air above them is at. Just sayin' ...

I noticed both of your stoves also have burner lids. Do you prefer your stoves have that over just a solid top?

Thanks for telling us the product works, I guess?? Maybe next time try actually showing the product in use for your demonstration of the product instead of making viewers wade through a bunch of hot air and ultimately watch your garbage commercial. Good job YouTubing 👍

Sorry man, as much as I tried I cannot simply summon mosquitos on command to bite me. I seriously drove to 3 different places that day looking for skeeters but to no avail. So I just showed how it works and shared my experience. Real life.

I would like to know how long a battery powered cooler/freezer (the kind with compressor) will keep ice without using any power. Have you tested that? My limited experience says that you may as well just use a good regular cooler

Keep in mind that gear from China has been found to have dangerous levels of chemicals like PFAS forever chemicals and higher levels of lead and other chemicals. They also use forced labor from their own populations for cheap labor. NOT all gear is tainted or made by forced labor, but just something to keep in mind.

I appreciate your skepticism. But consider I filmed this video all in one day, on a day and in a place where I wasn't encountering any mosquitos. But in the month or so prior I had many mosquito bites and many chances to use it and see how it works. Cheers.

I ended buying a Vevor fridge. Good coolers cost more than the fridge, are bigger than the fridge, have less space after ice than the fridge, weigh more filled with ice than the fridge, and you need to buy ice which can be harder than you expect when back country in desert areas. My Jeep has constant 12v power in the rear, and it never ran the battery down. If you are camping out of a car, just get a fridge, you will love it.

You should look into the more compact double burner stoves out there. They are a nice middle ground between the Everest 2X/Coleman style and the one-burner option. The BSR-32 foldable and the Nature Hike 2-burner foldable camp stoves are two that come readily to mind. Both are ideal for a solo or two-person car camping trip.

I'm watching your video and paused to give you a couple dispersed free camping places I've been to. There are actually several free campsites for dispersed camping (not campgrounds) in Idaho within the national forest, but I haven't really wandered around there yet. I have camped at Granite Lake: there are 2 small tent sites, or vans/small truck spots. There is a part of the road on the mountain side that bigger vehicles like RVs can't pass the turn. Then there is rose lake in cataldo: highway 31 then take Watson Rd and turn left where the sign for the boat launch is. There are tent sites and RV/truck/van sites. Both of these places are dispersed, so there is no water or electric hookups. If you're more adventurous about water, you could always boil the lake the water and run it through a handkerchief or something to filter. Otherwise bring water. If I remember right, Granite lake has a portapotty by the 2 camp sites. Rose lake has a built in single use bathroom without water. I love both these places but am privy to rose lake: as a friend of mine lives on a different part of the lake. Where in Idaho are you from? I'm in CDA.

Great video! Can rain water enter through holes in the heat shield on the stove pipe? Looks like it would be able to come through hole and drip down into the tent
@theoutdoorempire
@theoutdoorempire 3 күн бұрын
It could come in through that hole if it's raining hard. But in my experience, if you put the stove jack on the wall it's not a big problem. And when. It comes in onto the stove itself it burns off into vapor right away from the heat of the stove as long as it's running. Could be a problem in some situations, but preventable if you use one of those silicone flanges.

Thanks for making this video. I' borrowing my son's (dirty) Yeti and need to wash up even before I can use it and don't want to damage it in any way ($$$). Question though; Should I return it back to him just was as dirty as he gave it to me? (Boy, I'd sure love to but I can't!) Thanks again for the great video. Livonia Bob

By the canvas off a bolt at wholesale price, purchase a gromet kit cheap around 10 buck and they all come with a couple dozens gromets and a ten year old can use it ( just need a hammer. Then pick one of the many ways to treat ( waterproof) the canvas. Does not have to be canvas, just needs to not rip easily.
