It's time to restock the pantry! I have $1100 to provide all of our food and household needs from the grocery store for our family of NINE for the month. I've carefully planned out where to shop and what prices are the best. I've studied the sale ads and I know which stores have the best prices. Today's shopping comes from 10 Box, Aldi, Kroger, and Wal-Mart. Later in the month, I'll make purchases from Sam's Club and Azure Standard. Loved your haul this week. I had to tell you I thought of you the other day- I was shopping at Aldis and got back by the meat section where a gal was marking down prices and I got pork ribs 50% off. I only bought 2 huge ones because of lack of space in my freezer. That will be 6 plus meals for hubby and I. Love love love finding great deals especially on meat. It was less than $1 a lb.!!!

Every Friday, i spend an hour or so comparing Aldi, Super1, Albertsons, and Walmart. Like you, i am able to find some really good deals. It makes me so excited to save and stretch my husband's paycheck.

Next time u shop for s'mores goodies pick up some cheap ice cream cones!! Rub a bit of peanut butter inside maybe fill with some chocolate chips and mini marshmallows or whatever little candies you find on sale or discount.. when the kids finish filling their own cones.. wrap them up in aluminum foil and throw them on the grill or a grate over the fire. Let me cook for a little bit so they get good and melty. And Viola!! A personal AWESOME custom s'mores that each can be proud of!! ❤❤

❤❤You did a great haul this month! Wish I had known all this when I was young. I have to children but economy-wise I could be living much better financially than I currently am. I am not able to grocery shopping so I have to have mine ordered and delivered from WalMart. The people who put my order together don’t really do a great job especially in choosing fresh produce. Once I received someone else’s complete order and someone else received mine. They would not come and pick it up due to cross contamination. I shopped at Aldi’s until I just couldn’t any longer. We have stores around my area called Priceless which is the same concept as 10 Box. Good to see you today and look forward to upcoming videos. Btw, I too love Ms Vicky and Chris. She cracks me up!! She definitely makes lemonade from lemons. Love all of you so uch. Going to send Abigail and David’s birthday cards as soon as there is someone here to take them to the box for me. Janice next time you are at Sam's look for the Romaine lettuce 6 heads for less than $5.00. While it isn't frugal to make a special trip for that you can stock up mine usually last at least 3 weeks before it starts going bad. I enjoy the grocery hauls and it also inspires me to check out prices I just found out to my disappointment that Sam's is cheaper to buy coffee than Aldi's. I usually buy Cafe Bortello brand $3.85 X 4 $15.40. Sams Club has Reg Folgers on sale 40.3 oz $9.98 and the Dark Roast which I like better $12.98. Even off sale it's only $2.00 more which is still cheaper than Aldi's and slightly more ounces per container. You inspire me to do more price checking. Anna In Ohio

We've never tried the Great Value chocolate bars, but we buy all the others in the 6 packs, and they are very good! We have bought multiples of them....$2.98 a 6 pack is a great price!

Good morning Janice! Don’t be upset about the Hershey bars! I have tried almost all of the GV candy bars and they do NOT taste as good as Hershey. I usually buy the GV alternative for almost anything but I won’t buy their candy bars again. In my opinion, they have a “chemically” aftertaste. If you are going to try them, I would suggest you buy a small quantity and try it before you buy again. You can find individual bars in the snack area up front.

My meals are very easy just soups and salads i am doing good on my weight i just lost another 25lbs. it's not easy loseing weight but eating just beans and veggy's plus the salads the weight is droping off faster then i thought. a friend of mine at the age of 54 was having problems with his tummy and down ward and found out he has gluten issue so now he buys 1 of anything for testing and he writes them down as per name then figures out like /dislike, texture, what he didnt enjoy so that he can eventually he knows the ones he is going to eat the list is long lol sorry for a long post but thought you might do a list for the one person and you can eventfully narrow down the right things to get hugsssss

Hi Diane! The $238 includes my 10 Box, Aldi, and Kroger totals before tax. After you add in my Wal-Mart total and all the taxes then my grand total was $382.14, so that's where all the different numbers come from. :)

Janice do you and Sarah do canning when your garden comes in .I did see that Sarah did some canning last year. Sarah you can shred zucchini and can it for zucchini cakes or shred and freeze it. My family likes it fry it like green tomatoes. And you can get the large bags of carrots and can this we can’t grow a carrot at all.lol .Janice you have to check out for the best deal, I done go to aldis it’s to far us to go. When my girls were young we always went to aldis . We could always get a cart full pluse more, it never came over 100:00 dollars. Have a safe and blessed weekend.

Janice.. Have you ever made homemade KFC chicke bowls. Mashed potatoes on bottom of bowl, add can whole corn kernels drained, cut up chicken nuggets, topped with chicken gravy? My kids love them! If, you buy them they are $6 each with a coupon. Not affordable.

I have Celiac disease so I have to buy gluten free……the best pasta is Barilla gluten free and is the cheapest I have found at $2.50 for a 12oz pkg……the spaghetti and fettuccine are the best along with lasagne noodles…….the penne is not good……buying gluten free can get very expensive and not taste very good…..I’ve done a lot of experimenting

The Great Value chocolate isn’t that great. In my opinion, you were money ahead to pay a little extra for Hersey’s. I’m a new subscriber, and after watching your shopping haul videos, I can’t for the life of me understand why I never check prices on my grocery apps for the best deal! Duh! I’m pretty good at remembering prices, but sometimes my memory isn’t as good as I would like and I end up overpaying for an item where if I just quickly check my apps, I could get the best price.
