Yeah, I wanted to echo this as a portrait photographer who cannot do landscape photography to save my life. I love her choice of framing so many of the shots. There was one shot where she set the camera down near the floor to get a shot of her opening up doors to one of the sheds, where the kitty was following her back and forth. Cool shot.

Another terrific video and a solid reminder of why your Arm's Length Video Capture remains a primary reason for the popularity of Laura Farms. It is extremely rare that we are treated to being so wonderfully close to a super bright, super lovely farmer who not only looks great but actually knows her equipment and how to drive and repair nearly everything on the farm. Laura you are auper in all respects...Thank you for such great, knowledgeable videos. We are blessed.

Hi Laura and Grant. Even though i know absolutely nothing about farming, infact i'm a city boy from UK. I started watching few farming videos on youtube when i watched a series called "Clarksons Farm" on amazon a couple years ago, just really intrigued me wanted to watch more. Now i've seen every single one of your videos. Your videos about farming are really engagging, particularly when you give us interesting facts like "water makes mud wet" lol all the best for the rest of the harvest, hope the corn yeild is your biggest yet! Thumbs up always.

It's always interesting to see how you farm. I live in farming and ranching community south of Houston, Tx. Lots of cotton, corn, occasional grain sorghum , and rare sightings of soy beans. John Deere and Case equipment are the norm for row crops. I am fortunate to have leased my small farm to one of the best farmers in the county.

Weather has to be big on your hit list. My wife is from southeast Houston. They lived between I-45 (Gulf freeway) and the loop (610?) Almost everything was down the Gulf, freeway, gas, cars, movies, food, and more theaters!

Its just so cool to see our hero tame the windswept Nebraska tundra in state of the art high tech machinery. These rigs are so massive, dangerous, and intimidating yet masterfully and bravely handled by our super hero farmer girl. Alas, her kryptonite is harmless little field mice. Ridiculously adorable! 😂😂😂

Smart man! Jobs are safety first, whether for yourself or a customer. Shout it from the highest video, eh, mountain. We only get one reset. Or was that no resets? Details details. The 3 wise men are Grant, Laura & the fuel trailer!! That's a built by farmers, for farmers machine - and a couple of ad execs who insisted they knew the perfect tires to use. We only have 1 life to live - so I've been told - and you want to have 10 fingers and toes at the finish line. That means 2 arms and legs must finish too. The foot bone is connected to the ankle bone etc. Great video & superb thumbnail. She needs some strong muscles/tendons/ligaments to protect her joints. Ask me how I know. #LauraFarms I'm guessing you have a well stocked storm shelter too...

Down here in Florida we get chunks of limestone be4drock that float up to the surface over time. This might sound ridiculous to someone who has never worked the land or studied geology or physical geography, but it is something that does happen. I knew this one guy who was a hay farmer back in the 1980s when I was in college, and he was telling me about how his land has rocks appearing here and there and his family has been growing hay on it for a hundred years. He showed me a huge pile of them, as big as a bus, collected over decades. They look like rusty concrete, but it is limestone. Lighter than the clay and sand above the bedrock, especially when it is wet. Every little thing that shifts the earth a tiny bit wiggles the pieces up a tiny bit. Even the tides. Diurnal and seasonal warming and cooling of the soil, cycles of moisture increasing and decreasing, frost heaving in Winter, insects and their larvae, little animals. All these and more move the soil and other subsurface materials around, and the lighter rocks gradually rise up from below by buoyancy.

Here in NZ on the Canterbury plains where paddocks can be quite stoney, we would use a heavy roller when the crop was just 6 inches or so just so that harvesting did not pick up large stones. Bending the drum or concave is no fun when you racing to get the crop in. It did not happen to us but I heard stories about neighbours

Wow, that could have been tragic if that chunk had made it into the feeder house. Good eye, ma’m. Now, I’m wondering how it and the others got into your field? From another pivot repair company truck? Tornado debris carried aloft for miles? It would probably be expensive, but is there a product that works like a fishing sonar to identify hard objects ahead, which could be mounted somehow to the front side of the intake that could alert the operator of an anomaly several feet out? I’m not a farmer, so maybe you would know? Surely someone has thought of this before, but if not, I freely give you and Grant the idea to develop it or submit to JD. Peace and love, beautiful farming couple!
