Hey Jon, First off, this was a good video - your editing is getting tighter, and it’s clear you're putting in the effort, which I really appreciate. That said, it seems like things have been quite challenging for you both lately, and I’m genuinely concerned. Considering you're now living in the office part-time, it’s evident that the financial strain must be quite significant (7:28 “we just woke up at the office”). I can only imagine that paying off those five credit cards is weighing heavily on you, too - it can't be easy. Now, I’m not sure if your channel is simply about documenting your life with little input from your viewers, but if that’s the case, I think it’s worth considering how to balance that with the very real concern your audience feels. Right now, it feels a bit like a “You vs Us” dynamic - with the "You’ve got this!" comments getting responses, but the constructive criticisms, which are getting the most likes from viewers, being largely ignored by you. We all want to see you succeed, but putting your life online and on the line like this means you’re bound to get a lot of unsolicited advice and watching videos recorded three months ago is entertaining, sure, but to really feel like we, the viewers, are part of your community, there needs to be more of a connection with what’s happening now - in the present, December 2024 - by using things like polls, challenges, feedback, etc. However, I think it’s important to take a moment to reflect on this - especially given that back in your video from 5 April 2021, “How I Stopped Gambling”, you spoke openly about overcoming some of the addictive habits that were holding you back. The pattern of hopping from one venture to the next seems to echo some of those past struggles, and I think it's something worth seriously considering. Please don’t let history repeat itself. I’m not saying this to criticise, Jon, but out of genuine concern. We’re all rooting for you and want to see you thrive, but I really hope you can take some time to pause and think about where this is all heading, as from our perspective, it doesn’t seem that this has happened. Please, take care of yourself and your future wellbeing - and don’t let the pressure of creating content cloud your judgement. I truly hope you can make a success of your plans. :)

just an fyi, probably best to avoid mentioning you're living in the office. it's a commercial space and so you can't use it as a living space in the uk. the person you're renting it from might find out and either kick you out or demand you pay more for using it as a living space

Starting a gaming channel in 2025, arguably one of the most accessible ventures with the lowest barriers to entry, but also one of the most saturated markets. Bold move, let's see how it plays out

For the lead who didn't want services due to the last people ruining his porch lights, I dont know about the UK but in the US you should have an LLC and insurance for your business that way you can rebuttal with "I understand your concerns and would like to let you know we are insured so the full responsibility for any repairs or mistakes that would need to be taken care of would fall on me. Would you like to set up a time later this week for us to come by?"

i wouldn't even be that bothered by the crocs if it wasn't for the fact they're bright red, so your eyes immediately dart towards them. if they were a more neutral color, i probably wouldn't even have realized he's wearing crocs. also, odd choice of footwear for a job that involves spraying water on the floor

@@soyboypersonalfinance1138 when you're 12k in the hole, it's not just £700. nothing is just £xxx, every cent counts to ensure you don't go deeper into that hole. they're literally having to live in that office, which isn't even that big of an office, because they can't afford their own place or they'd get even deeper in the whole, or get evicted from not paying rent

Maybe to help the customer understand the cost, quote from previous jobs how long it took and it could help them visualise why its so expensive.

2300 a month and you don't own a house & live with parents or have kids, CRAZY, number 1 priority id say is reduce those costs what are you spending money on, its insane, even 1600 a month with no house and kids is high maybe u need to look at your lifestyle . As for the gaming channel your playing on an XBOX ONE and playing years old games surly you at least play relevant games that are new or popular now. im mean Diablo 4 has been out nearly a year now so at least play that, Dying Light 2 is out and also id advise on lets plays to play 1 game at a time not cross 3 or 4 games or the audience gets confused of schedule also why are you not telling us what the youtube channelis so we can go watch it to boost it

@DPM143 yeh I mean the video was from September the phone screen showed that they so theymust of. Absolutely ridiculous idea with the setup they had to think a gaming channel would work. And like if said before I like these 2 and these videos but considering they want to run a business they make some wild decisions on what businesses to set up

@@Orys-f3z that'd explain some of the relies in last week's video. people were bringing up that it's dumb to censor the name of the gaming channel and not link it in the description, and jon was complaining that he did that because the only traffic that channel was getting was the one coming from this channel and it was bad for the algorithm as it'd make it not recommend the channel to people

I know you guys are giving back a bunch of feedback and stuff but their series is so far behind real time. This video week was all the way back in early September and currently it is mid December. I really hope they are doing well and if they are still uploading these so far off the date I think they are doing well.
