Agreed, and I was sucked into supporting 5v5, but it just makes the tank role too strong - a better tank wins 75% of the time. Making them stronger recently only exacerbated the problem.

I didnt play Overwatch 1, i always thought killing 2 tanks would be way too hard and even trough all that this just looks more fun and just feels right.

it allowed for bringing back team fights more and also tanks (and now dps and supports) didnt have as much hp as they do now so it wasnt impossible to kill things... play making potential and team play were both better, this game is just death match now

evrytime i see 6v6 it feels so good action everywhere, everytime one single stupid random pick off doesn't seal the fight and make both teams to wait for the guy to respawn thats why snipers weren't such a big deal, even shields aside

The addition of a second tank made the game more dynamic involving more team play instead of the raid bosses we have now that are just giga buffed that can either overpower an entire team or feel miserable to play solo

I genuinely don’t see why we can’t have both 5v5 and 6v6 in competitive formats us overwatch players are split between the 6v6 players and the 5v5 players the people who want 5v5 want to have more control so tanks don’t just go double shield and take over the game and 6v6 want the tanks to feel and have more impact I think we could easily have both 5v5 and 6v6 competitive modes and let the player base play whichever one they want or enjoy more

i never plated overwatch 1 but i have watched some videos and meta and all that and it does not look fun to be honest. To be fair i did not play the game i have only played ow2 but 6v6 always looked to chaotic and 5v5 for me is more team oriented believe it or not than a 6v6
