In my Bears rebuild there was a 85 ovr rookie punter just sitting in free agency week 1, I couldn't believe it, so I signed him in a heartbeat and got rid of my other punter asap. The dude is a 89 ovr with superstar ability and he averages 58 yds per punt! Make sure you guys check the remnants of free agency, there may be unsigned young studs time to time sitting there left over from the draft.

When the game glitches your X factors even though you have the ability purchased while in adjust lineup just click change scheme, change to something different, then click generate best lineup. Then back out and go back into adjust lineup and it should be activated.

The salary cap restraints to trading draft picks confused me too but I found that they tie whatever salary would be allocated to that pick and then take that into consideration when determining if it would put the other team over the limit.

For the man/zone coverage issue for corners it depends on your d playbook. If it heavily favors one coverage over the other upgrade that if it's balanced do both for best performance in sim. Both will work as long as the playbook is compatible.

Rebuilt the Beard in Madden 23. My first real decision was to trade Fields, draft a new QB, and immediately the offense got better. The defense on the other hand is so dreadful that it took several years to salvage that one. The O-line and D-Line are the big hurdles for the Bears in the game.

Since this post, Justin Fields and the offense has gone off! 😅 QB1 was H1M these past two weeks (NFL Weeks 4-5), for 617 yards on 43-of-64 passes - which is a 67% completion rate - plus he has thrown 8TDs to only 1 INT in two games [across five calendar days no less] 🤩 - On a side note: Chase Claypool was just traded to Miami for a pick swap ((their 2025 6th rd pick for Chicago’s 7th rounder in the same year))
