I adore Into the Woods. So good to hear this production was good. I'll always be a sucker for Sondheim, and this is my favourite of his. That being said, no show has affected me as profoundly, as both an audience member and a theatre creator, as Hadestown has.

Saw it at NY City Center (unbelievably lucky to grab a seat!) with Neil Patrick Harris, and Broadway first preview and a charity performance just a few days later with Brian Darcy James. It is amazing -- Sara Bareilles, Gavin Creel, Joshua Henry, Kennedy Kanagawa, Julia Lester -- all deserve Tony nods (albeit difficult competitive year and it was a limited run early in the season). I had seen the PBS filmed version a few times, but this production knocked it out of the park -- the cast album is also fantastic. Can't wait to see the tour when it hits the west coast. Unfortunate they're touring in Florida during the Tony Awards; I guess it won't be pushed for a revival nod.

Great video, what a fun way to spend a day of your Birthday weekend 🎉! It’s difficult to pick one favourite musical, I keep going back to Jersey Boys, obviously because of the songs, I loved the Stratford production of Chicago, and going way back in time the original productions of EVITA, CATS and Phantom , all in Toronto.
