Hi Amy, I love your artistic house! I made a five panel accordion book for a friend of mine for her Birthday. I used a digital of quirky houses. She has always liked funny houses in quilt patterns. This is such a fun project Amy! I'm still working on my house and having so much fun! Fortunately for me, I have zero issues creating things that aren't based in reality. I used one of the abstract mark stamps that you've used in the past to stamp my house. So it basically looks like someone scribbled all over my house, and I love it! I love the imagery of houses, I have built at least a hundred of the Tim Holtz village houses . . . I am thinking of taking the tri-fold laser cut houses I purchased from you and making this style houses and mounting them on your tri-fold for a fold out in a journal. What a great combination. I already used your tri-fold trees to make a journal of tree poems . . . I had already skipped purchasing this issue of Somerset because I didn't see any thing new/interesting in my flip through. I am now seeing the magazine through your eyes and hoping my store will still have a copy when I get there . . . Thanks for the inspiration! ❤❤❤

I LOVE this project. For some reason, little whimsical houses speak to me. Yours turned out so cool. I'm having trouble with my Art Glitter glue too. I did some research and read that it gets thick once it's over a year old. Mine is over a year cause I bought a very large bottle. (Lesson learned!) Also read that it thickens in the summer weather. Thank you for sharing, I'm looking forward to trying this project.

FYI if you get the dental brushes for braces it cleans your metal tip out really good for your glue. When I told you the other day we were visiting the University of Tennessee are daughters only 15 so she’s got three more years at home but she’s wanting to check out all different colleges, she wants to be a nurse and then a doctor. Absolutely love this - clever using the stamp pads - my pin does the same thing - I noticed that Gayle puts her pin through the top of the knitting cap - I'm going to try that the next time I get in my studio. I hate when the ball comes off of the pin. Enjoy your day!

Hello Amy, I missed you! I took a bad fall 8 days ago and couldn’t get up to get my phone, so spent the night on the floor until my daughter rescued me and called an ambulance 🚑 I just got released from hospital and my daughter is staying with me.
