I grew up in Alaska, and I once saw a "dark snowfall." It was after Mt. Spurr erupted and sent a plume of ash over Anchorage. Eeriest thing I've ever seen in my life. The ash fell and covered everything in gray. Fortunately, nobody mutated into a monster. Also, the aurora is totally worth seeing. Try Chena Hot Springs near Fairbanks in any month that starts with a vowel.

Me and my girlfriend listen to your stories pretty much every night but she is so sensitive/ repulsed and unhinged by detailed, gruesome gore so I'm VERY glad she fell asleep before the gore started happening lol. But this story was so amazing. I LOVED it! Honestly probably my second favorite story you've ever narrated! Number one would be the skulls on the Appalachian trail don't touch them, one. I listen to that one so much. The stories you narrate are so incredible but your voice is so soothing and understandable you're my favorite scary story narrator. Do more like this! :)

Outside from tenuous connections with what the threat is they have few similarities. Different locations, characters, themes and plot progression. Theres so many movies and books you can take any of them and call it a RIP off of something else with such shallow standards for plagiarism don't you think?
