I think too many people are way to critical of themselves when watching film. Hi I'm relatively new to your channel, so if this is out of line I'm sorry. I'm a 5/6 a side goalie not pro never will be, recently I've been finding that my wrists are getting injured saving hard shots, particularly low to my right. I was just wondering, am I doing something wrong? Or is this just part of the life of a goalie? If you don't see or have time to respond to this no worries and thank you for the content I've really found my game improving by adjusting my stance and delaying my dive to until the striker looks at the ball and I can't wait to see what else I can learn from your channel 🙂

Can anyone please tell me how to stop powerful shots, I struggle saving them. Today, a top corner shot came around me, I got a hand on it and kinda hurt my wrist. In the place that I play football in, there's a lot of dust so you can't really dive, so whenever I try to save I jump a little and try to save it with one hand. Should I always try to get 2 hands for a parry? Do I just let the ball hit my hand or do I try pushing it away kind of like punching it but with the palms? Should I instead hold my fists and punch the ball away?(I do not have goalkeeper gloves) It would help me a lot if somebody could answear my questions and give me some tips

I once almost had a clean sheet for a entire tournament but my defender scores an own goal when i was on the ground injured and he thought i was up so he passed it to the goal and it was the only goal conceded.

I have a video on goal kicks (linked below). A lot of it is just getting repetition in, which you can do by yourself. But another big part is making sure you try and play a variety of different balls (short long medium) when in team training. So you get a better idea of how open someone needs to be for you to get the ball to them in time like at 2:59. 1.) Your back line was terrible; 2.) That referee was possibly the worst I've ever seen. I've followed your channel for a while, and for a big man, you ball skills (footwork) have improved a lot the past 2 yrs. It's hard for large GK's to be light on their feet and have soft touch with their feet. You def. have PK's down....nice job, those are incredibly hard at any level.
