Hot damn, that was one hell of a save, and I understand the sheer thrill you must've had that time. It's like you don't wanna show it (No goalkeepers do) but inside, you're hopping everywhere with happiness!😄 Great match

Honestly, I had no idea how big of a save it was until seeing it on camera after the match. I had to ask one of my players at halftime how it looked. But regardless I don't celebrate saves anyways which I'll probably make a video about in the future.

It would be interesting to have an on-screen clock showing milliseconds as you're scrolling back and forth frame by frame. All of us GKs know how fast these plays develop and come at us but would be really cool to exactly how fast, especially on these massive saves (i.e. "this all happened in 0.27 seconds" or whatever it turns out to be!)
@KAK139 Жыл бұрын
Great save in that first half. I feel you on the lines with multi purpose fields, especially when one field, the yellow lines are soccer and then on some the white ones are. That field length looks like a good confidence builder for my kicks!

7:04 The save was so good, that the attackers had to celebrate in their own zone to show you are such a legendary keeper 😂😂😂
@notds3308 Жыл бұрын
If you GK career doesn't work out that well I can easily see you in coach academies your explanation is on point and one of the reasons why the ball does not stick to the gloves is because of the artificial field having those little rubbers things which make the ball way smoother and very hard to stick to places and also can ruin gloves in about 2-3 dives so I suggest you to change gloves every half or if possible any substitute keep 2-3 reserve always

Some excellent saves man. I hate those stupid lines aswell, in my 18 there's so many lines and on the outside of the 18 there's so many aswell. I was wasting time the other team where just playing long balls and I was just letting it roll into my 18 but because there's so many white lines I picked the ball up like 5 yards out of my box but luckily they didn't score from the freekick

At 06:19, your awesome save, you say "I'm set" as the ball's leaving striker's head. You're beginning a bounce (most pro goalkeepers do this bouncing). When you land your feet to be able to react, ball is already half way towards goal line. Why this bouncing? It makes goalkeepers lose time to move because your feet have to land first. Wouldn't it be more time effective to keep feet on the ground, with knees bent, go start moving faster?
@lucasinunas Жыл бұрын
the bouncing is to be always ready at any shot the opposite side might shoot at you, and also gives you more propulsion. If you stay with your feet on the ground, you won't have the reaction or the sufficient force to throw and make a save
@albertoguaruska7932 Жыл бұрын
@@lucasinunas That's not how biomechanics work. Boxers always have feet on ground to react faster.
@lucasinunas Жыл бұрын
@@albertoguaruska7932 boxers don't have their feet on the ground all the time. They bounce also, look at Muhammad Ali, his trademark was just that. Lots of other sports do that, like tennis
@albertoguaruska7932 Жыл бұрын
@@lucasinunas your biomechanics is still wrong. Read my first comment again and look at the clip. Boxers don't bounce to react faster, they mostly keep one foot on the ground. It's physics, you can't apply a force (reacting) if your feet are in the air.

Multiple lines on a field can be hell, but you do get used to it when it's the only thing you have. I remember playing handball and over time not even registering the basketball lines, but it's not really comparable to a football/soccer field that's supposed to be pristine.
@DonatelloBlssd Жыл бұрын
I have genuinely learned a lot from you and I have improved. But something I have never done correctly is shooting the ball high enough, it’s way too hard for me. I don’t shoot my own Goal kicks because I can’t shoot the ball well🤦🏿♂️

Yeah, the multi-purpose lines suck. I just play at a youth club level, and I’m not the starting goalie, so one time I ended up picking up the ball outside of the 18 yard box, and the opposing team scored off it. Thankfully, we were already up by a lot, but still.

Bro with all my respect, you call this “pro soccer” ? Cause I like your videos and you actually know what you talking about, but whenever you say I’m a pro goalie I was wondering in which club you played? Here in MX that’s still an amateur level even though you can get paid playing in those instances. There’s a lot of similar tournaments here but we cannot call it professional even though real good level is shown sometimes
@GKGOLUREMI Жыл бұрын
No, I never claimed this is pro soccer. In my last career update video I explained I was going to be training / playing in us open cup qualifications for an amateur club while waiting for the winter transfer window. The two pro contracts I’ve signed was in the top league of Finland where we (RoPS) were also playing in Europa league qualifications. And then last season where I was in Croatia’s second tier with NK Jarun.
