Im in the process of replacing mine now, i got the memory and core to recognize in windows, i can even run tasks on the card but there's no display output and after i reballed the memory and core i noticed some of the MLCC capacitors cracked due to built up moisure escaping as steam from the heat of the reflow.

Restart and all is well, temp was never out of line. Just in case got a NEW 1000 Watt Corsair PSU, and a day later card did the same thing. Put it in a different motherboard and the same thing again.. But this time reboot didn't solve. Just full-speed fans and a black screen from any port. Some forums saw several models had this issue and there was no repair. Waited 6 months for the Warranty, card was dead again in less than 3 weeks. Thankfully warranted again, but was 2 two-month wait. Moved up to a 4090 and the new-in-box 3090 is sitting on the shelf.. A friend had his fail too in the same way, both different brands. @jarnovilen52593 ай бұрын
Replacing the fuse takes only a few minutes but that MUST NOT be done before finding out the reason the fuse blew. The card may be easily fixable but if you just replace the fuse and there is for example a shorted MOSFET, shorted to the die that is, you will most probably just destroy the GPU. The GPU may well be still ok but the short has to be repaired before powering up the card. Replacing a defective MOSFET is an easy job for anyone with hot air station and skill to use it. The only problem is that the parts have to be ordered and it may take weeks.

More likely that sagging causes it. But you CAN NOT properly reflow the GPU if you do not have the equipment. And reflow is not enough. You have to clean and reball it etc. It is not a job that can be done at home. But that is not even the case here. If the measurements were ok, there is most probably just a short somewhere. It moght be an MOSFET shorted to ground (a easy fix) or shorted GPU (a no fix).
