As we run a Skool community i can tell you that multiplying members by price is often not really accurate. Because you give a lot of discounts and even free memberships. Esp at the beginning.

I can see a similar method to that programmatic SEO, and I call it split testing smoke offers wich can be used for product development/MVP, I learned about this in a book

In line with the Groupon dude who abandoned website creation because someone else was doing it and your comments about us never running out of new things to invent, there is a famous quote which you can Google for where the head of the British patents office in 1899? said that he wanted to shut down his office because everything had been invented. This was before viable airplanes and before the start of the mass production of vehicles. One would hope that someone running that office would have a bit more vision but apparently not.
