You need to move the 3rd link pin on the tractor to the lower hole. Then it will tilt the bale fork's up when it goes up. And it looks like you need to move the 2 3point arms down so it lowers more. You could add a Bale spear at the top by the third link. The center of your bales could be a soft center bale.

I guess I didn’t even think about messing with the 3 point itself, thanks for the tips

I know one reason some people have the older John Deer combines cut wheat for baling is they do not grind it like the rotary combines do. I put up straw for a cousin one time and we had to separate the straw. The rotary straw was for landscapers and the conventional straw was for horses and cattle since it had less fines to cause sinus issues. Like the rotary straw has. Hope you and your family has a safe and productive harvest. A few have started shelling corn in Greene County Illinois.

We made a cylinder to use on our top link but you can also buy them with ball ends. We had the same problem with our 75C that we soved with a cylinder so it will tip the bale towards the tractor. Extend to spear in and retract when you raise.

Some fine tuning, and that hitch should work. It's a good idea. You'll make it work. Please stay safe, and God bless.

Ditch the quick hitch, get cat II hook lift arm's. As factory fitted to every tractor not in the state's. Put spikes throu bale lower! Hydraulic top link. Jeez! The euro crew been doing it for years. Same here in New Zealand. Yet we get told don't know what we doing 🤷🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️👎🏻
@johntemple9875 Жыл бұрын
You can probably buy 3 bushings for the going from class one two pins that if they are long enough. enough they will fill the gap. A third spike on the center member would solve bale slant problem

Take the quick hitch off and hook your implements up direct and that will get rid of your problems. Good thing you are a engineer cause you would never make it as a farmer.
@HartungFamilyFarms Жыл бұрын
The whole point of using a quick hitch is so my dad can do everything himself, kinda the point
