As someone who has been through therapy since I was 12, when you do actual therapy appointments in person (this was way before covid came along and changed it all to online video calls) if your therapist talked to you or even treated you like this, he /she would be fired and lose his /her license… whoever this guy is if he really is a therapist he definitely needs to find a different job.
