I got one of these earlier this year when FMS had a deal where you buy this one and get a 18th scale truck for free. I got the yellow Toyota as the free truck.

@@DoURC i like it. it definitely needs some upgrades. i have the orange body. all i have done so far to mine is put a sticker on the door! lol. i want to do some upgrades as well. i don't like the battery tray. battery options are less. the ones i have wont fit in so i had to rig them up. but i want to upgrade my Axial CJ7 first. so this one is going to be stock for a while. i am running out of money! lol

@travelinwithTODD I know that feeling, this hobby can be expensive can't it! 🤣😬 Yeah stock battery tray is probably the most annoying part about the whole rig. I normally like running bug 3S battery packs, but there's only enough space for tiny packs! May see about making something cool for the rear bed to put the battery in. 👍 Very jealous of your CJ7 👍😎

The Atlas was my first 1/10 crawler. its a real trooper, I have abused this thing so much, its been underwater a number if times and it took a year before the stock receiver finally failed. It now runs a dumbo and hobbywing fusion se 1200, with steel beads and predator hyraxes. it rock crawls pretty well with sticky tires.

Ah excellent, good to know it's stood up to plenty of abuse. I think the bigger FMS rigs are made really well. I've been amazed how much of a beating my FJ40 has taken. 👍

I love the blue one. One day I`ll get one. I`ve just purchased an EVO PRO as an entry level platform. I think this would be a good trail truck with a lot of potential. A gateway drug for accessories.

@@DoURC I didn`t. I got the brushed one. I`m on a budget. I`ll run it stock and upgrade parts as necessary. Still awesome as is.

I think I have just seen my first 1/10 truck . Im into the smaller scales but want something bigger for the odd run in the forest .Thank you for sharing....Harry

It’s unfortunate about the tires because, I think they look awesome! Do you think the tire compound is too firm? Nice looking truck, I love how the yellow contrasts with the surroundings in a lot of your shots.

Yeah, I mean they're not bad, just not great. Maybe softer foams would help, but tbh I'll just change them. 👍 Thanks, it was getting dark so lighting wasn't the best and my camera doesn't like low light. 👍

@DrewDoesRcEveryDay Yeah I think it's a good rig with potential. I love my FMS FJ40 and it's basically the same chassis with a different body. For $149 it's an absolute steal. 👍
