real easy to add reverse light to most any brushed motor truck . wire up a set of L.E.D.s with a resistor , and tap into the motor leads in the appropriate polarity that illuminate them when you reverse . being diodes they will only work in one direction .
@nepeeer11 күн бұрын
That is not safe for LEDs without an antiparallel diode. And brightness will change with the throttle... A better idea is to switch the backup LEDs with an optocoupler, connected to the motor wires with a resistor, diode and capacitor.
@stevepataki133311 күн бұрын

Zero complaint on the body size, the opposite honestly, wish more companies would make the bodies a bit bigger and give us a truer scale look. Most of the 1/10 chassis aren't proportionally 1/10 anyway, it's always in the 1/9-1/8 range in reality so bigger bodies are a nice addition to the hobby. Great review as always 👍

I don't thing they geared it diffferently ... the K5 has a 21T motor while the LC80 has a 32T I'm of those who regret the lack of unlocking diffs (not especially interested in DIG but not against it)... sure it's more potential failure points but since the YK4103 and YK4106, I've learned to appreciate driving unlocked and having to lock only when needed ... I'm always stunned by how much you can do with unlocked axles. The body is not perfect, it has its quirks, like front fenders, C-pilar angle and shorter than real rear overhang, but it's not the only one, even from more established brands that also have their share of "artistic license".
