I appreciate how Xavier explained his perception of Lande's beauty as a constant of reality, "a fact that we all know" and acknowledge like the sky is blue. It's a poignant reminder that because someone doesn't, perhaps, acknowledge our beauty as much as we'd like, it doesn't mean that they don't see us.
