i feel like people tell her often that she's beautiful and that they are attracted to her but she just let it roll off her sleeve. Not in a narcissistic way but just as someone who doesn't care much about external beauty. She seems down to earth and sincere so I think she likes to look deep into someone before knowing if she's attracted or not.

Alyssa was giving off signals the entire time she wasn't feeling chemistry. There was major tension between the two that Ejay was pushing for it and she was getting to the point that she was uncomfortable that he couldn't read her signals.

I 100% love her words to him on being a good/great dad one day! As a child I had a horrible mom situation. I had that fear that I could never be a good mother...so I understand his fear. Now I am a mom to a 3.5 year old , and I can say that things are turning out just fine! I am committed to making sure she never feels what I felt, so I guess I have learned from the mistakes before me... Ejay, you will be fine! ....more than fine :)

They were both nervous/fearful and the questions highlighted what in their minds were their vulnerabilities. He didn’t want to say a low sexual partner number because he thought it would make him look like a punk, she wanted to be clear she doesn’t sleep around. She got defensive that it’s been 2 years since she’s dated-she was afraid it would look as if it is still an issue. He was just curious why she’s been single that long. No judgment. They definitely came at things from different angles. I think she was scared he’s say he didn’t feel chemistry-she said Idk, smiled big and waited for his response in facial cue and he’s got an excellent poker face. She misread and went conservative. He realized that he threw her off. Think he also figured out her insecurity dead on and that’s why her face changed. Like, is it that obvious?

Not really. Being conservative or liberal is a personal choice. To be either isn't a bad thing. When you don't categorise things as particularly evil or good, I feel makes a person more humble and accepting. When asked about the chemistry she found herself in a position of solidifying a situation for someone else. She stayed humble to a situation of what if.

Jenn Brandon I hear you, but my comment was not suggesting she should be afraid of being honest. There are times when you would describe yourself one way and other times when you’d use opposing language to characterize yourself, and the only factor that has changed is the environment within which the characterization is made. You have not changed, but the way you see yourself changes once reflected off of your surroundings. This reality indicates some agency as to how we characterize ourselves. And that agency is utilized all the time in gray situations like this where we don’t know the person sitting across from us and there is an implicit interest in working toward seeing them again... unless she just doesn’t have that interest. Sometimes people send those signals by choosing to use cautionary language or downright unappealing phraseology as a way to ward off the other person. Some people who suffer from always putting their foot in their mouths, do so due to fear or other self-sabotaging emotional conditions, that really has nothing to do with the person sitting in front of them.
