My oldest has been a lead singer for a few decades in some local bands and not a big star he keeps it as a hobby. But he said this girl shouldn’t even have tried compared to Kristen. I mean when Simon Cowell gives you a standing ovation, you hit it out of the park, I doubt he would have clapped for her version.. considering Kristen’s has 20 something million views. I think I remember her auditions from idols, she sang a Jessie j song. She then told she really liked Jessie j, judges told her it was best not to sing Jessie j song because her voice is a bit similar. But I really think over the years she developed her own voice, yeah she has a bit of that same edge to her voice Jessie has, but definitely her own sound.
