Put a note inside that just in case it washes back to shore in the future, that if found please return to: .... And if you want offer some sort of reward for its return. Sooner or later it might wash up back to shore, or not, who knows.

Problem with Airtags is that they only work via Bluetooth, they don't have a built-in GPS tracker.

Who said the boat prop can double as a plane propeller??😂 I'm sorry, but just the idea of that is absolutely hilarious. There are tons of self righting boats out there. On Amazon, they have a boat called a UDI Arrow 5, does like 35 mph, 3s....4s capable AND it's self righting. Really fun as well. White one is $179....the red is $184 and the carbon black one ( also known as the Tylosaurus on some sites is $219. I own the white one as well as the Tylosaurus and like 5 -6 other boats lol. It's a fun hobby. Great video btw.

This specific boat can do it so you can retrieve it. It doesn't give you much speed but its enough to move

I found 1 for 40$ that has capsize recover, forward and reverse while turn steering back in forth, the torque flips it back.

Next time bring a fishing pole.. You can cast over it and bring it back.

I’ve lost 2 boats due to no self righting… and I will never go back. that’s why it’s priced at that price point IMO. The recoil 2 18” has one button self righting, Bancroft jetstream does too. Both good boats at that price point. If you loose your boat without a plan to get it back.. you can bet that it will happen again. That is one good looking boat! Wish it had more features!

My brushless rc boat also has no self righting but if you use full throttle fast forward/backwards (momentum from motor) it will self right again.Your boat can do the same, but now it's to late for you sadly. PS this method doesn't work with a catamaran rc boat because it is to wide and stable to flip it over when it is floating upsidedown in the water.

You could've had like a recovery drone on standby where it has some sort of attachment that can make the boat go upright or better yet lift it up. Just my opinion.

That sucks. Happened to me before trying to bring my fishing bait out with the Motion RC Bancroft Alpha 37.4" Deep V racer. The Waves swallowed it. $450 gone in 3 minutes trying to bring it back in. Your boat looked like a Dolphin jumping those waves though. lol

Never send a non self righting boat to sea....lol I only use either my sonicwake or SR80 Pro in the sea, but I will give it to you there is nothing like the thrill of surfing the waves.

Shame on Hobbyking to not design self righting boat ! I did tested my Vector S boat once on the sea, and despite of salt water I found out that biggest issue is algae floating on surface, which would corrupt the propeller every 30 seconds...

You can add a selfrighting chamber to almost every monohull, so it's rather stupid to run a boat without selfrighting (or the means to get it back) in the ocean...

As mentioned before the UDI arrows boat is way better. From bangood. Same price but way better. If you put one battery on one side it will flip over with the torque.

UDI Arrow is cheaper, can self right, has reverse and is faster when you put a 4s/2000mah pack in them. I would buy the udi 1005 over this all day
