I wipe every card with microfiber and breadth if necessary, that’s about it

Some people don’t understand the grading process. Nothing is perfect when a company does millions of grades a year.

Maybe a newbie question, but is there an advantage to cracking and submitting as oppossed to just sending it in for a crossover? They re-grade the crossovers anyway, right? It just seems risky to crack yourself.

Great question! I’ve always felt (and heard from others) that they are much less likely to give the card an upgrade because that would indicate that their grading standards are less strict than the other company’s. This could be incorrect, but I’d rather the grader not be biased knowing the “prior” grade from another company. In a previous video I sent a CSG 9 that ended up getting a PSA 10. I can’t imagine PSA doing that had I sent it still in the CSG slab.

No, it’s a common myth though. If you watch any of my previous regrading videos, I’ve had 8s go to 9s, 9s to 8s, etc.
