Tell me about it! Your talking to someone who for many years has been sewing in a living room. Every time my husband would get home I'd have to pack everything up, put away my ironing board, etc. Not because he's intolerant, but because our apartment is SO small. It is so nice and makes making video's a lot more expedient, now I just have to get it in order.

Hi. I recently found your channel and have enjoyed it so far. The dress came out lovely and looks very nice on you. In your latest videos, I also noticed you are in Northern California and had to deal with some spring snow. It made me curious if we were not too far from each other due to the weather and another little bit of snow after the last storm. Hi, and thanks for watching my shenanigans! It seems like all of North Cali has been getting dumped on with snow. We sure need it, but it has been a little crazy, I prefer to get it gradually and not all at once, and not have an ongoing drought. :) After tonight the forecast looks pretty clear, next week it's forecasted to get up to 70 degrees so we'll see!

Yeah, my mom and husband are both subscribed and watch my videos. I think sub requirements will be reached first too. Growth does tend to happen on KZbin exponentially, as long as content creators are uploading consistently and the content doesn't vary too much as to confuse the algorithm and still appease your subs so you don't lose their views or lose them all together if your content changes.

Yeah, I subscribe to her channel, she's great. Some of the tips she gives for finding patterns I already knew, she can adjust a pattern better than I though. So many of the vintage patterns still available are too small now. Thanks for the compliment, ❤️I still think I should adjusted the pattern peice a bit to adjust the drape and make it more flattering and skipped the bottom ruffle all together, but others seem not to notice so I still wear it. 🙌

I get that we see things that 'bother' us but you would be amazed at just how little folks notice things really. I see crooked lines in my plaids, folks see the 'bosses' coming to check out things when I go the Walmart because to them I seem 'dressed' and I am treated differently than if I was in pants and a top. It is odd to me sometimes. Point being, we can be our own worse critics. If you want to change something then do it for next time but I would not stop wearing something I enjoy because I want improve it for the next iteration... or even just a similar garment.@@mountainjune

The tiny dots, does make a nice print to make a Vintage style dress. It does need to be ironed every time I wear it tho, LOL!

Simplicity S9464, the pattern envelope is pictured towards the beginning of the video too. :) And yeah, I preferred the sweet heart neckline, as opposed to the square neckline that was an option in the pattern. Thanks for Watching!

Hi your dress is very nice, but please leave the pinnie off, I grew up in the 50s, but no pinnie., I made my own garments, that was the only way to get a dress or even a jacket. Keep sewing .
