Andra, what a simple idea…marking patterns as you go. Something so simple yet it never occurred to me. It really is a headache cutting out all the pieces then marking them afterwards, especially when there’s quite a few. I will give this method a try next time. You are right. Those antique buttons were meant for the dress and they are gorgeous.

Hmmmm….sew as you cut….I’m going to try that. I don’t have a great cutting set-up and my back hurts before I’m done with lots of pieces. I’m 5’ 9” and my table is a little low. When I was young, I could shake it off, but now the pain can linger afterwards (not that I’m getting old, or anything 🤣😂😅) I’ll let you know how it works for me. The dress is so pretty!
