Just noticed that the 3 guitars are played different as in Toni and Carson have cappos but on different frets and Reina has no cappo. I'm only learning the guitar so does this mean all can still play the same key but will all just sound different/different pitch?
@erwinvandijke61694 жыл бұрын
rootnotes of chords can be found all over the neck. Capo's be very handy for different sounds of the guitars
@bertbourgeois82294 жыл бұрын
The capo allows, for example, the fingering used for a basic, open C chord to be used, with the capo on the second fret, to make a D chord, or with the capo on the fifth fret an F chord. A fret equals a half tone. Raising a C by two half tones sounds like D, or by five half tones like an F.
@CRyan714 жыл бұрын
@@bertbourgeois8229 this I understand. But they still have to be all playing the same chords simultaneously no matter what right?

Great overall performance. Of a song I grew up with and appreciated. But, and this may sound similar to my other comments on their performances. Josh is superb on vocals and instrumentals. That goes without saying. the man is totally superb. Tina has a great grasp on her guitar, making it an anguished attendant to the saga being discussed in the song.And she has strong vocals. Carson adds his unique voice quality to the verse he sang. And then there remains Reina. Admitted, on this performance she hit her notes better than her average. But, her whisper voice usually disguises a voice that cannot hit notes on target or even close to that. And certainly does not add to the combo. Even though she tries to disguise that by increasing her volume in her notes as the the song is ending....nice try, Reina!. And she does not contribute to the instrumental package. But, hey, 3 out of 4 isn't bad!
@greu523 жыл бұрын
OK, I've checked out several musical videos . I was probably too harsh on my comments regarding Reina's vocals. She generally can hit notes well. I personally don't enjoy her breathless, "Marilyn Monroe" vocal delivery, but that is a personal choice. I stand by most of my comments on her particular performance: i.e, not so great, and then overcompensated on her song endings..
