So is Toni’s mike dead? Always wonder why she has to switch mikes whenever she sings?
@lateralus7473 жыл бұрын
@@johnwilson8309 Probably has to do with the fact that she sings more back up/harmony vocals…not lead vocals; so her microphone volume is set lower than everyone else’s because her harmony parts are more meant to blend with the lead parts or meant to be more back up in contrast to everyone else.
@kevinankeny60793 жыл бұрын
@@lateralus747 Plus, compression and reverb are also set differently for lead vocals compared to harmony and background vocal.
@andersjohansson47342 жыл бұрын
@@kevinankeny6079 That can't be right, she used Josh mic. Could it be a combination of Tonis voice being a little weaker and that the mic was lowered to avoid blowing out his voice, and that she's shorter and hitting lower than him? Unless expected, Reinas invite to solo may also have played a part.

These guys are amazing! I love them. I'm seventy seven - an old rocker who played in a group in Hamburg in 1964 and I'm stuck in that era. (I was still doing gigs in pubs and restaurants in St. Andrews, Scotland, until Covid19 struck.)What I like about Josh and his gang is that they they play covers of my favourite music. I'm so glad so many people are discovering these truly amazing and genuine guys.... I found Josh and Carson on here 5 years ago recording a bluegrass cover of Martha My Dear... and I was hooked. I considered pasting some links to some of my favourites from them, but the joy is discovering them for yourself. I have to warn you though... just when you've found a gem and think it can't get any better... another link catches your eye... and then another... and then 3 wonderful hours later you wonder where the time has gone.
