Hi Steven ... Thanks for your Input Mate ... You know, doing the research and finding some 'hot' info ... It feels like finding a patch! Especially when you get out on the ground and the rocks all come together just when the numbers do. Last year, I pushed through three kms of thick creek in a numbers chase, and 100 metres from the high ### the ironstone came in, then the quartz ... Then WHACKO! Nuggets straight away!!! Bring on 2023 ;-0

If that don’t get your blood pumping your pushing daisies…. (6 feet under) I went out Jan 1st prospecting on a creek it was raining for the first 3 hours then the creek flooded then the rain turned into sleet (frozen mushy balls) an hour and a half later it started snowing what a day lol still managed to get a few minus 40 mesh pieces per pan so it wasn’t a total loss but it sure made it difficult to prospect lol thanks for sharing see you on the next one 👍🏼👊🏼

Love watching your vids., full of great information and handy tips. I know you like to keep your finds and identity a secret which is also good advice "loose lips sink ships" was a saying during the war and after hearing that story about when the planes that were flying over head one time and that poor couple. Did the Police ever find the wife, I always wondered about the end of that story, sure hope they got the bastards, you can never be too careful in the bush. Not sure if I like the voice over app you're using though, it sounds a bit too cartoony for me but if that's all you've got, I can put up with it to gain a bit of your knowledge. Cheers mate look forward to the next vid.

Thanks CapBax, I appreciate your Input Mate ... As far as I know that poor woman was never found ... It's a curious story as there are many anomalies in the whole saga ... The main investigator was the officer that came out to my camp when Poppy perished, he didn't say much about Tombstone but would nod appropriately at my queries ... Oh and about my voice ... I'm exploring my feminine side heheheee ... Cheers ....
@CaptainBax2 жыл бұрын
@@prospecting101 Cheers for the reply, Yes right out of Wolf Creek that sort of stuff. I thought it was a voice over app. of some sort because when I hear the radio playing in the background it also sounds the same but if you're coming out of closet that's OK, just watch out for those weirdos out in the bush. G'Day H2 ... Thanks for your Comment Mate ... Uh, I like my Z7 quiet, not screaming at me, I've found that a decent-sized nugget will give me a squeal when I have my Sensitivity on say 8 ... much like the Factory Settings. I tried the Sens on 15+ but was too noisy, and I re-worked that ground and heard some 1 grammers at around 18 inches (I think, sorry can't remember and didn't take notes) ... Hope this helps, everybody's different, actually depends on your hearing too ... Cheers ...
@haroldharold39082 жыл бұрын
Yea that helps I get lots of small stuff close to the surface say .3 .2 .1at 100m but 1 gram at 18 inch never so I need to check my settings I think.. on ground with 100s of small bits but never any thing bigger or deeper and I think theres should be at lest a few there deeper down

New at prospecting. Could you guide me on what setting would be best to use with a 7000?
@prospecting101 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for your query ... Now let's see ... I use the Z7 on pretty 'low' settings, like using the Difficult mode, the Sensitivity on 11 and Audio Smoothing Off. It may be my own hearing but I don't like the Sens on high, like 18, I've found the deeper nuggets give off a subtle signal which I miss when the machine is screaming at me. But some people swear by the highest settings! Look, it's such a powerful detector that really, you won't miss much. Well, OK, the 6000 does get those smaller bits in that 6-10 inch zone ... So you never get it all. Check out some gold detecting forums for lots of different opinions. Hope this helps ... Best of luck ;-) ...
