I tried this routine a couple of weeks ago and I cannot recommend it enough! My skin somehow completely transformed. I feel like it looks SO much glowier, moisture adheres to it better, it literally looks so smooth it's like real life facetune. I'm not saying this can cure cystic acne but I think it can REALLY improve the overall appearance of your skin. Makeup also goes on like literal butter. 1 month update: just did for the second time last night; got the exact same results as before. No visible thicker growth. Still highly recommend. 4 month update: works perfectly! try it! 3 year update: gooo do it works amazingly well

For those who say what shaving their face gave them breakouts: please keep in mind that you must wait at least 24 hours before applaying makeup on shaved skin or you WILL break out. Also, it is very important to shave in the direction the hair grows, otherwise it can cause ingrown hairs and remember that hair grows in different directions on the different areas of tha face. I would not recommend shaving on dry skin and not exfoliating before you do it, and remember that some products that contain fragrances can irritate your skin. All this being said, everyone is different and I can't say for sure that even if you do al of this you wont break out. Also, hair does not grow thicker nor darker (I have been shaving for about 2 years now) Edit: omg i just realized how many likes this comment has, please keep in mind that im no expert or anything, this is just a personal opinion that i got from my experience, google research and other videos i have watched. Be very careful if you decide to try it and if you are concerned please reach out to a dermatologist or specialist. Take care! Also, since someone asked: i dont think you should shave more than once a week. Shaving is kind of a like a very deep exfoliation, so be gentle with your skin.

Haya Khan its not ticker but since you shave it it can feel 'tick' because the razor creates a blunt cut in comparison with the 'normal' state of the piece of hair which goes thiner towards the end. So a few days after i shave it does feel a little weird. Also, dont shave in both directions on the same spot because this can cause ingrown hairs. Always shave in the direction which the hair grows

Farah Rajput Doesn’t increase it, but since your shaving the hair down to the skin surface level, once the hair grows out it’s blunt instead of tapered. Think of an eyelash, how it’s thin and lighter at the tips and imagine cutting it in half, the tip will now be blunt and dark.

This comment is a note to self :) feel free to read for reference July 18 - I'm going to try shaving my face for the first time today, we'll see how this goes, hope i won't harm myself xD Feedback - Right after shaving, i could tell my face was literally glowing and my skin felt so smooth i loved it. Thankfully i didn't injure myself, i second the use of a pre-shave oil because without the oil the skin is just too dry which can easily cause injuries. The area around the eyebrows is tricky to shave so i'd love a few tips about that. 9 days after 1st shave - I avoided exfoliating since i shaved and my face still feels smooth and supple and the hair didn't grow back any thicker/prickier (idk if this is a word but you get the point). I did pluck my eyebrows once during the 9-day wait for aesthetic purposes. October 1st - i've been shaving for the past few months.. AND I haven't noticed any issues (as in thickness, overgrowth, etc) Shaving still has a pretty good effect; skin glows and smooth post shaving and for a few days after Only issue is it feels like my upper lip area gets darker (or in my case green-ish) because of the tiny hair growing back... (I've always had this issue growing up btw) this issue was solved thanks to threading.. i only thread the area above my upper lip to avoid darkening and hyperpigmentation and then i shave my facial hair after threading said area (no problem shaving after threading) I'm not the best at grooming my own eyebrows so it's still pretty difficult for me even after all these months of shaving+threading which can be frustrating... my poor eyebrows :') Q. Will i continue using this method? A. Yes, it is effective and i got used to the technique so i don't think it's difficult. Also , combining shaving and threading is the best for me so that's how i'll do it. Q. What about other methods? A. I have super sensitive skin so waxing and sugaring have not been useful in any way.. (rashes, pimples and light burns) so that's a no Q. Try laser hair removal? A. I probably will do it sometime in the future but for now i'm quite content without it. Also, the fact that the hair might not be permanently removed is.... *sigh* THAT'S IT End of feedback English is not my 1st language, sorry :)

I just wanna say for anyone who happens to see this... that yeah this can be great for your skin and for your confidence. But it can also react differently for you. As far as your skin or how your hair grows back. And you are committing to something so make sure you are going to be able to maintain if this is something you choose to do. Theres nothing wrong with it if you do or don't. BUT don't feel like you HAVE to. Hair anywhere on your body and face is natural, healthy, ok, and BEAUTIFUL. Granted, this girl is beautiful before, during, after... etc. We won't all become models by doing what they do. Just do your informed research and have a good understanding of your skin type and needs. Shave downwards at a 45 degree angle, with the grain rather than against. Use oil before and don't wear makeup for 24 hours afterwards. If you're insecure about your hair its one thing but like me, if you think about doing this as a reaction because of something ONE person said to you, then do some soul searching and wait and make the decision once you're in a better place mentally and emotionally. You are free to do and should be supported in whatever decision you make. And the one you make is what is right for you. But know that you don't HAVE to do it or not do it. Its healthy and fine to have hair or to shave it. There's a lot of pressure out there to push us all one way or another in ways and about things that can make us feel really insecure. You're beautiful if you're fuzzy hairy or bald. You're worthy of love in any shape or form. And f*ck em if someone is worried about what YOU do with YOUR face. ❤

@ninishcjute79704 жыл бұрын
Girls I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU DO THIS!! Just like I guessed she does laser on her face so that is a major reason why she doesn't have that much hair. Also when you do laser hair removal you have to shave your face. I used to do laser on my face and for a while my hair was a lot less but once I stopped my hair grew back and worse! If you're middle eastern like me or have thicker hair please do not shave. It is really upsetting that influencers aren't more careful with what they promote because once you start shaving there is no going back. However, I started using turmeric, it removes the hairs on my face and exfoliates, it also has other great benefits. BUT if you have acne STAY AWAY FROM DIY(same goes for turmeric), the ph- are not balanced and you'll just be spreading bacteria and making your acne worse. I made that mistake when I was younger and got scars from it. My main point is be really careful when trying these things that are recommended by youtubers, especially when its not skin care products that are made by experts.
@baybiisk4 жыл бұрын
Apart from the tumeric mask what else do you use to remove the hair from your face? The same thing has happened to me, I have more hair & it's a lot darker/noticeable.
@ninishcjute79704 жыл бұрын
@@baybiisk Just the mask, like I said mix it with yogurt and let it dry and the gently exfoliate. Each time it will take more and more of the hair. I remember when I was younger there was this specially facial lightning color I would put on my face but they stopped selling that, I think the chemicals are bad for your face so stay away. Other than that, threading is the best because the hairs will grow less and less thick. My recommendation is to do the turmeric and plug the rest of the hair with a eyebrow plugger. Its really logic if you think of it when we shave, hair grows back thicker and the opposite when we wax or thread. I don't understand why there are people out there that are misinforming saying that it would somehow be different when it comes to the face. I hope this helps you, let me know!
@hennabyrani81804 жыл бұрын
I used tumeric with yogurt, let it dry also, it cleans my face but the hairs stay? Am I doing something wrong
@bm.h92684 жыл бұрын
I'm middle eastern and have lots of hair that is very course and thick... I shave sometimes. On top of that, I wax and thread too if I see the opportunity. My hair doesn't grow thicker or get ruined... Just wait for it to grow again so I can follow one of the 3 methods I mentioned above. I haven't seen the video yet, but shaving the face, w a proper raser (the small ones) isn't something to be afraid. of. Edit: I forgot to add that everyone's diff and should test a small area too... And for in my case, I stopped waxing from Bellow my chin and jawline cause I get breakouts, but shaving that area is fine.
@xNAN0USSE4 жыл бұрын
I also did laser on my face and I noticed much more hair on my cheeks than before. I thread my face sometimes but my skin breaks out right after even if i mosturize plus I have acne and scars ; i'm way too afraid to shave tbh. I don't k know what to do lol, I might try the tumeric diy

Here is my experience --- • Try shaving in the weekend . you might have cuts from the shaving. • Your skin will be extra sensitive . so avoid going out in the sun . • Don't apply creams with active ingredients after shave . I put petroleum jelly or aloe jel . • If you already have acne don't bother shaving just yet . There is a big chance of you getting acne breakout . • Have patience and don't hurry through it . shave somewhere you can have natural daylight . Shaving in night can lead you to miss some spots . • Shaving itself won't lead you to acne free face . If you have sensitive skin you will get acne . • If you start shaving , keep it regular . Although it will take 1-2 months to get back to normal hairy skin if you stop shaving .

I do sometimes breakout when shaving my face but I’ve noticed that I breakout because of irritation for not prepping my skin correctly or not taking a good aftercare of it. Because of this same reason, I try to not shave my face as often. I’ll try shaving every two weeks up to a month if I can As if it grows back thicker, I myself have really thick hair but I’ve never noticed it growing back thicker. the thing is since you get used to seeing your face without hair when it grows back you notice it more but it doesn’t mean that it grows back thicker

I’ve a few important questions cuz I’ve never shaved/waxed my face hair and been really contemplating doing it this video came at the right time 1) how often do you do it? 2) what do you do if there are areas where you have acne or small bumps/white heads 3) how long should you wait until you put product on your face?
@_empty_49454 жыл бұрын
1) it is considered a form of physical exfoliation so probably once a week. Or whenever you feel you need to. 2) if you have bumps and you are worried that you might hurt yourself, just shave around it. 3) after shaving, rinse your face with cool water and then you can apply your products. Hope this helps 😆

Jo actually it doesn’t. You always will have the same amount of hair follicles nonetheless if you shave or not. The hair only appears to grow thicker bc its shorter and feels „harder“. Plus you cut the hair so the end is much more „sharper“ than naturally.

I have acne skin and when I derma plane I don't break out, but everyones skin is different. I would recommend doing this at night before your normal routine, that way no makeup or sweat gets into the pores and the skin has time to settle. I would also recommend making sure you are using a new or disinfected blade and avoid going over any active breakouts so you wont spread bacteria. You can also follow shaving your face with diluted witch hazel or tea tree oil because these are both natural antiseptics that can help with acne!
