glad you had the strength to do this! i could go on + on about how great or even how much better you look w|o hair but i know what’s most important is how you feel about yourself. so i hope you’re able to see the beauty that exists w| or w|o your hair. you look great! not a fan of the Britney meltdown comment, w|e reasons people choose to cut their hair off is valid. mental wellness related or not. + you’re absolutely right about hair carrying energy! in my religion we’re not supposed to cut our hair at all because of this (+ other reasons) unless there’s like a medical//health necessity. + at the same time the big chop is liberating AF, it’s like a reset so reframing the necessity of the chop is a bit easier.

This is so encouraging! I was recently diagnosed with alopecia just a year after being done with chemotherapy, getting this alopecia diagnosis after all the changes that happened to me because of breast cancer definitely isn't easy, I am doing a doctor prescribed treatment but I can only notice a regression, I am so tempted to shave my head again, after all I know how I look like bald, but this time it is harder because I can't guarantee that it will grow back, and also the cancer image will be with me forever especially that my eyebrows didn't grow back too. You actually look incredible bald! It is very scary, especially when you feel you have to because of circumstances outside of your control, but as hard as this can be to accept, it is just hair, and hopefully you can get healthy and love and feel comfortable in your new style. I have shaved mine a couple times because I had to and it was both scary and liberating for sure!

I am at 4:50 in the video and had to pause to comment now. I have always thought you were SO beautiful ever since I discovered your channel. As you are cutting your hair, I'm blown away at how gorgeous your bone structure is. I swear the more you are taking off, the more beautiful you look and I can see definition in your face that I didn't notice before. They have root touch up spray, I would try that on the patches maybe you're whole head. You look pretty either way.

i shaved my head i think 4 times in my life, and its only with this fourth time that my hair grew back to a length i had when i was a kid. granted, its still growing, but the reason my hair grew back this time was because i worked out (sweat in the scalp helps ur hair grow), i drink water and put spinach/kale in my smoothies, and i oil my scalp with jamaican castor or argan oil

Do you know what caused your alopecia? I've delt with it for almost 8 yrs now. Mine was from the IUD I had or the med I was on. Both are gone and my hair grew back. I still get spots tho, nothing noticeable thankfully. It did come back very curly where it was straight before. If you ever need support don't hesitate to email me.
