70m blank boss is good too. I wish I'd found your channel years ago when it all started going Pete tong, but I'm not sure it existed then! Much appreciated.

I agree with your explanation & I also believe some put too much emphasis on Aiming. Great content, great subject, & I just subscribed.

Hi Ashe. There is a way to train the body angle at short distance, that simulate the long distance shooting?
@OnlineArcheryAcademy4 жыл бұрын
Absolutely! Aim higher up on the target and move closer to make the angle have more effect. For me, standing with my longrod about 2ft from the target and aiming 1/3 from the top of the boss with my 70m sightmark gives me the 70m angle :) That's with a 122cm Danage target but it will be fairly similar for most targets.

@@OnlineArcheryAcademy I believe there are a couple of online programs that will print out target faces onto A4 paper that simulate any distance you want for your given blank boss distance. So if you can only shoot 5m, you add that in and it will print the correct apparent size face and tell you how high on your boss to put it, so you can practice 70m and even have the correct angle etc

Please why newly the string is hitting my chest, what is the problem in my posture, or what. Thanks
@romans.81574 жыл бұрын
i got same problem, little big chestmuscles. if i lean more foreward the triangle is not tight anymore. I often look at Women shooting but got no solution.
@BlasterKotakatik4 жыл бұрын
Make sure your chest is down and keep it down as you raise the bow.
@OnlineArcheryAcademy4 жыл бұрын
It's a bit hard to say without seeing it, but make sure your posture is correct first of all. If you're leaning away from the target this can cause it. Also, having the bow shoulder alignment in a bad position can actually worsen this. You might think that getting better alignment will make the contact worse, but this isn't always the case. If anyone is happy to volunteer, I'd be more than happy to give some video feedback on an archer who has this problem at the moment; I think it could help a lot of people as a few archers have commented with the same issue and I'd love to help out. If you want to do this and are happy for the video to be public on KZbin and social media feel free to send some videos of you shooting to contact@onlinearcheryacademy.com. Thanks! Ashe

Great point. To clarify, do you want to know how you keep the draw hand fingers relaxed but continue to expand through the clicker with enough movement?
