I've been looking at 4 different bows this year, you covered two of them already, the other two " in my opinion " would be the Elite Endorsement and the Bowtech Solution, the PSE bows intrigue me also but they never seem to feel right to me personally.
@HuntFishShootChannel4 жыл бұрын
We can for sure take a look at those bows. PSE has always been my go to, and probably still will be but there are a ton of great options out there. Myself, the PSE carbon bows have always been my favorite.

Great review! Thank you for doing the sound test, that was something I was very curious about and haven't seen. I have to agree with you, I shot both these bows yesterday and they are both wonderful machines! However I will say that I am definitely leaning more towards the Hoyt Ventum.
@HuntFishShootChannel4 жыл бұрын
If people are able to get past the Mathews name, I think Hoyt will sell a ton of these Ventums. Thank you for the comment and we would really appreciate if you would subscribe!

It’s good to see review from a pse guy who’s comparing a matthews and the Hoyt. I feel the same way as you.... the 1.5 cams Hoyt used to run felt terrible . I just couldn’t justify paying money for what they are selling. I’ve always shot binary cam bows. Just sold my 8 year old obsession , and was looking for what’s next. I shot the vxr last year and it was the only bow I shot that I felt was an improvement from what I have . But from the reviews I’ve read without shooting one . The ventum 33 seems to be taking the cake. Can’t wait to shoot one

It’s a sweet shooting bow and truly impressive!

Just traded my RX4 for a Ventum 33. Never thought I'd trade carbon for aluminum. Actually thought it shot better then the RX5. Great review
@HuntFishShootChannel4 жыл бұрын
great choice! Personally, the Hoyt carbon bows being 4.5-4.6 LBS was always odd to me. I think the biggest benefit to carbon is the weight.

I too was impressed with this bow! I been shooting the Mathews Vertix..VXR.. and now the V3 27 but this Ventum is sweet. I haven’t been impressed with Hoyt since I had my 2015 Carbon Spyder Turbo series. I’m glad they got some things figured out.

What about the BowTech solution

That is certainly a bow we could do a review on. I have never owned a bowtech and haven’t shot one for years.

i shot both new hoyts and the new v3 the v3 was lighter with allot less hand shock. not even close and ive been a bowetch guy for 20 years but will be shooting the vs this year
@HuntFishShootChannel4 жыл бұрын
I truthfully like the V3 quite a bit. I’m partial to the 27 as it’s a compact bow and ideal for certain situations.
@melburn744 жыл бұрын
Have you shot the new pse carbon stealth mach one? If so, how does it compare with the ventum?
@HuntFishShootChannel4 жыл бұрын
Yes I’ve actually owned one for about a year since it came out! As far as which bow is smoother on the shot, I would say the Ventum edges it out slightly. As far as what bow is practical for my hunting style, the Mach one wins that battle every time. I think the Mach one holds a little better and does it at a full pound lighter
@mattsanders80233 жыл бұрын
Was the bow timed prior to test? Why not 70lbs.? The matthews is 1/2" to 3/4" longer DL unless you used a draw board to check.
@HuntFishShootChannel3 жыл бұрын
Yes the bow was timed. If you watch a previous review on the Mathews V3 I make reference to the draw board and Mathews being longer out of the box

Every review I’ve watched on KZbin, the reviewer blindly says the Mathew’s is way quieter. It would seem they are incorrect lol.
@ikerapt67024 жыл бұрын
not to sound like a know it all, but shouldnt you be shooting at a far target? I think the mic is also picking up the arrow impact noise. seems like 102 is high db...
@HuntFishShootChannel4 жыл бұрын
That’s a fair comment. That being said, I don’t think so because when the bow goes off, or at least in person versus the video, you can see the decibel meter go up on the shot not the impact. That being said, future reference we will try that! Thanks for the watch and comment!
