Ever since I was a kid and growing up, all I constantly heard was the uncountable number of surfers being seriously bitten, body parts bitten off, killed or eaten by sharks. Oh no a black tip reef shark, you were not going to be eaten, they were after your fish because you are in their home, you were not going to lose your life, they are not that dangerous, they were taking advantage of the situation, sure it's scary, but you're not going to die. They did not think you were the fish, they're actually very smart and know that you're scared of them, so they scare you off to get your fish.

Yess you are correct the shark was not after me… but what you miss is that most shark attacks happen when the shark confuses a part of my body with the fish… if I get bitten I’m 3 hours from help… most would say just give the shark the fish but you can’t when under water and there is zero gravity try throwing a ball underwater. Many people I know have had this happen and have been attacked done for lucky some others didn’t. This is the full truth
