Thank you! Turns out I have to replace both wheel bearings/hubs, all the seals, along with the inner and outer tie rods. Basically rebuilding the front end at this point! More videos coming soon!

@@iamalexsun I don't have this exact vehicle but I already learned a lot from your experience - gives me confidence to tackle a similar job - looking forward to it. Sounds pricey 😱 but worth it!

Just replaced cv axles on 2009 sienna. Toyota could not source the driver’s side axle, so I had to get it rebuilt by company below. The passenger side OEM unit was sourceable. The Car Nut technician provides the best info on Toyota repairs and maintenance. C.V. Source, Inc. Buford, Georgia 30518

How expensive was this project vs having mechanic doing the repairs
@iamalexsun7 ай бұрын
Not much more expensive money wise. But very costly in terms of time.

@@iamalexsun Its a wonderful learning experience as long as you pickup the important principles what mechanic follows , also lean to appreciate ACA Blue Badge mechanics to deliver good work vs fly by nights

I wanted to do it myself until I saw a few videos on YT on how to replace both sides and said F all of that! I just paid my local mom and pop mechanic shop to do it...ahahahaha
