It's actually totally incorrect since the speakers are designed to be placed vertically. Now the "sweet spot" for good stereo field is so tiny that you lose half of the benefits of using monitoring speakers. Might as well use some headphones. 👍 The only reason engineers are placing these speakers like that is to see through the window behind the desk lmao. And they never mix music like that either.

You've got to be REALLY close to an electron beam to generate significative interference. Electromagnetic field effects fall with the square of distance and electrons move REALLY fast
