I Should have Stayed Longer! Landscape Photography in Switzerland is Amazing! OM-1 MKII

There are destinations that are just ot good to be true! And I am staying in one for just 2 days! I wish I could stay longer because every corner shows amazing new compositions.

Was a complete week at Lake Brienz with my wife. You managed to squeeze out so many shots in such a short time. Like you said earlier, if you don’t go out there like early morning, you’re not going to get those shots, or have the patience to wait for the correct light. Great work, piece of art, very inspiring.

Going out when the light is at its best is one of the key ingredients for better images. But with the current sunrise times that can be quite challenging especially when there are multiple days after each other. Squeeze in a evening shot or like last week a night of northern lights photography and you are totaly exhausted... last week I experienced this for the first time in a long time. That sunlight on the mountains was so amazing. I almost drove back down 3 times I just wasn't feeling that first location. But as so many times before the light just changes everything! Hope you are doing ok and that the slipping didn't cause any injury! Grt guido

Unfortunately, I'm already back home (this is recorded about 3 weeks ago). Although we had a lot of bad weather in Italy we still enjoyed our self's 🙂 thnx for watching grt guido

@@GuidoVanDeWater Hallo Guido No mountains in my area. The alps are in southwest, about 2-3 hours to drive by car. We can see it an days with clear weather from a higer point. Our Landscape here is more like big waves with much woodland. In the east there is the Bavarian forest about one hour to drive and before you arrive, there is a realy flat area called the "Gäuboden". Prachtig weer Guido! Wat een mooi landschap hé, vind het in Nederland altijd lastiger om een mooie compositie te vinden voor een mooie landschaps foto.

In nederland moet je echt gebruik maken de weeromstandigheden. Een klein beetje mist of mooi gouden licht en het landscap word fantastisch. In een land als zwitserland is dat iets minder van belabg vind ik altijd omdat dobkere wolken ook wel passeb bij het landschap daar. Bedankt voor het kijken en je comment! Grt guido

@@GuidoVanDeWater in Nederland vind ik een compositie snel rommelig worden, voor mij is het een uitdaging om het beeld rustig te houden. Het gouden uur en zeker mistige omstandigheden helpen wel inderdaad.

@michaleenders454 wat voor lens gebruik je voor landschappen in nederland? Mijn tip zou zijn gebruik een zoom lens. Je kan alles wat storend is weg laten. Over een paar weken komen er weer een paar videos uit nederland waar ik vooral telefoto landschappen gemaakt heb. Ik vind het altijd een heerlijke manier om inderdaad die vele storende dingen lekker buiten beeld te laten.

@@GuidoVanDeWater ik gebruik eigenlijk diverse lenzen. Olympus 8-25 mm, de Olympus 12-100 mm en de Panasonic leica 100-400 mm. Inzoomen helpt inderdaad wel, het beeld wordt wat simpeler.

Mooie set lensen dat is de focal range die ik ook eigenlijk altijd bij me heb.

Well, I just try to show what i do and how I look for images. If I do some photography during my holiday I like to show that. 90 per cent of my videos are recorded in the netherland, so something different once in a while keeps it fun for me.
