Santander makes spending your own money as difficult as possible. I was on the phone to them for over an hour last year just to make a payment. Even after answering all the security questions on line my account was frozen. No wonder Joe was pro-active. Watched yesterday’s auction video and wonder if Mike reads the comments on the weekly. Is that mini petrol as I’ve heard the petrols can be a little dodgy ,but the diesel from 2014 right up to present day don’t seem to have any issues I have an f55 mini hatch 2016 diesel automatic and so far been reliable , no issues apart from replacement items that go on any vehicle start of 2014 the sports petrol had problems in the engine and mini did a fix under a recall program the only other issue that was known to mini 3rd generation is diesels , MINI recalled some diesel vehicles due to potential EGR cooler leak and some just didn’t cool the exhaust gases due to design fault and could be potential fire hazard that’s all.

Can you do a post on wet belts? All the cars that are fitted with them and all the cars you think were not fitted with them? They actually have got a wet oil pump belt like the Volkswagen Audi Skoda. In fact that they doesn’t just affect the fords 1.0. And please answer me this do you tell your clients before you sell them such a vehicle?

I can almost guarantee you’ve been fleeced with that HiHi system. I’m assuming a 5 or 7 year lease on top of a monthly service fee. Maintenance free on year 1 only as is the free broadband. They will have given credits for first 2 years then price rockets when they will want to upgrade you and get you into another extortionate lease just kicking the huge debt down the road. They get all their commission up front which you pay interest on. Great business model for them.
