I’d say it’s very different... I think the stock SI has more pep to it then the stock ST. Smaller turbo faster spool time.

9th Gen is lightweight trash compared to 8th Gen. 8th Gen is lighter and has a higher redline, along with better weight distribution and aftermarket parts availability. Take the 8th Gen K20, rebuild the the engine with type r cams and a K24 bottom end. You'll be making crazy NA HP without sacrificing quality.

Hey man I saw on another video someone said that the base maps were just for getting to a tuner and not for daily driving is that true? Or is it just depending on what mods you have done. I got the ktuner V2 with vit tune stage 1 could tune my car and daily drive on that or should I use one of ktuners base maps instead. My 2018 si has no mods as of now but have a PRL Cai on the way. All i have is the injen short ram and ktuner basemap 19/23.5 psi had this setup since January my car just started doing it on cold starts looked it up in the forums looks like someone had the same issue and had to replace the fuel injectors cause he car got so bad on cold starts it went into limp mode... not trying to scare you was just curious

Just so you know I have the FX350 installed in it is complete garbage have had nothing but problems since install clutch grabs horrible I even paid the shop twice to pull it out and see if something was installed wrong and nothing makes tons of noise sounds like a brake rotor dragging and all times I would stick with the stock one if I was you or get AFX 300
