I was just wondering what you would think of Buenos Aires? As an African-American I lived in Buenos Aires for nearly 10 years. I found Buenos Aires totally awesome 👌. I was last in Buenos Aires Argentina last in March of 2020. You are also going to find the people of Argentina just amazing. I plan on an extended visit in December. You can never get bored in Buenos Aires. Enjoy. Yes I got addicted to drinking Mate. And adopted Boca Juniors as my soccer team in Argentina. But my favorite neighborhood in Buenos Aires is Congreso check it out if you can, again a great video 📹. To me the people in Argentina don't care what you look like, if you have an interesting story to tell people will be curious about you.

@@packles81 I am glad you brought this topic to the table. The myth of Nazi Argentina was born out of Argentina's refusal of the US request to join the war after the attack on Pearl Harbor (1942). On the other hand, Argentina is home to the largest Jewish community in Latin America (of which I am part). As Argentina applies the law of the soil when granting or recognizing citizenship, it did not recognize the ‘right of blood’ that governed citizenship in European countries. That is why many Volga Germans were registered as Russians when they arrived in the country, while many Jews were registered as Germans because they were born in Germany and Argentina did not recognise the Nuremberg laws that deprived them of their right to nationality. By the end of the war, the Red Army had unleashed hell in Berlin, abusing mothers in front of their children, torturing women and mutilating children. Eva Perón devised a relief scheme to give these women and children safe passage. I assure you of one thing: Not a single Nazi was hired by the Argentine government, while the victorious powers pardoned thousands of Nazi hierarchs and gave them government posts.Let me tell you something, pal: Maybe Hollywood has led you to believe that America rescued the Jews from the Nazis. But no, that was not the reason. The only reason America joined the war is because Japan stood in the way of American economic interests in the Pacific. Before the attack on Pearl Harbor, millions of Jews were peddling in concentration camps and none of the victorious powers celebrating V-Day today had any qualms about those lives until their pockets (or borders) were involved. So do yourself a favor and stop talking nonsense. As a Jew, if you implied that my country is or was a Nazi, I would slap you in your hypocritical face.

It's one of my favorite cities to visit. 3 times now. It's fantastic in many ways. However it cycles through bad economics pretty routinely. The people and food are great. Palermo has a pretty prevalent Ex Pat community. Recoleta even higher end living. Congresso district has all of the international trappings of our Wa DC. I wish I could afford to live in a nicer parts of town. Easily the cost of a lot of American cities in these parts. Recoleta is like Beverly Hills. At the cost of say Atlanta. The quality of living drops off pretty quick outside of these. But Argentina as a country, man it has so much to offer.

Not actually, nice neighbourhoods are all over the city, in fact, palermo overall is not a neighborhood of rich people. All the palermo soho/hollywood is exactly like any other part in the city but without the trendy bars, hotels and night life, like chacarita, vurquiza, coghlan, vcrespo, etc. For the metro area, everything north is nice. West and south is where I have to tell you were is nice instead of where it isnt. Im generalizing of course. Recoleta has the biggest slum in the country right next to french palaces and skyscrapers and Bella Vista (west) has mansions surrounded by awful areas

Hi, guys! A Greek here. I was wondering the other time, many Argentinians often express their enthusiasm and love towards Greeks & Greece. On many of our videos, I see you commenting with the best, most kind words, while I couldn't imagine it, since the Spanish-speaking world is extremely large and as a secondary, there's always the US which produces most of the media. Yet, Argentinians seem knowledgeable people about my country and I mean more that one would expect, far beyond the big, pompous titles we achieved as a nation in the past. Besides, Argentina, the most European nation outside of Europe. Am I right or right? Love you back! Beautiful people but that was to be expected, especially since you're essentially extremely closely related to our best friends, Spain and Italy. Sincerely! 🙂
