Wow you are mind reader! I need to fit some indicators to my DR650 as it was stolen and eventually returned 4 months later minus the indicators and brake combination light. This video is very helpful in figuring out what goes where! They even took off the grab rails! Thanks!

This was a great video and I will try it tomorrow. I don't have a broken tail light but I want to install a stock DR 650 rear rack so I have to remove the rear signal lights to do that. I will be looking for a piece of string to attach to the wires for routing, what a great idea. My Bark Buster mod today did not go as well as the yours did in your video, the attaching hardware did not line up but I can return on Monday and try a different setup. Hopefully the signal light removal and installation will go as smooth as yours did, rainy and wet here anyways and I love to tinker.

Awesome video Dino ,liked and subscribed ,i have a broken turn signal assembly to change and this will be super helpful, love the string idea ,reminds me of an electricians tip from long ago, watched your tank change video as well. Thank you for giving us the confidence to "tinker" with our own bikes its very gratifying to do ones own work. Keep up the good work , we just got 15 cm of snow here in BC so i'm gonna go change this turn signal and then Not go riding lol, Happy New Year and wishing you a great and safe riding season.

That was crazy talk, due to the snow,now it's been raining for a week, double digit temps, acerbis skid plate installed, turn signal changed. Engine guard installed, putting insurance on this bad boy tomorrow and going riding this weekend , oh ,got some sweet riding gear from Amazon (HWK pants and jacket)would make a good video, I'll see how waterproof it really is ​@DinosTinkerShed

I laid my bike down and broke that same wire. I shaved off a little insulation and then soldered it to get the light functional. The pod is also damaged, some electrical tape is providing support for now.

Electrical tape can be a tool when required, lol. It does seem like a weak point to me but it is easily reparable. Thank you for the comment 😀 Dino

It's a lot less fun when the pod is damaged/not the wiring harness - that hot wire is crimper onto that end contact pin like a bugger!😢 fighting with 1 now

The headlight is starting to act up on my DR, I move the big chunk of wires and it works, I move it again and it stops working, I'm not looking forward to taking that all apart and finding where the wires are broken!
