Dont know what this bloke did in the 80's band wise but hes got that 80's swagger with his playing which is great to see and hear.... its a lost art is his style as the kids dont understand the chug these days... having owned a few /13 amps, i did love them but internally they can be a tad shoddy and the valves are too close to the cabinet too which caused a colouring on both of them so i sold just in case they caused a fire

Bibl you rock ,Great chops and you know tone my friend ,Thanks for sharing about Divided by 13 I have owned in the past a BTR 23 combo ,CCC9/15 Head With a Rock Block 2X12 Cabinet and Lance Keltners personal RKL 57 amp which you can see on the you tube video he did and now I am back to a BTR 23 Head and one 12 cabinet and they are all great amps. My Favorite for the style of guitarplaying is the BTR 23 .Nice thing also about Divided by 13 is you can pick up the phone and call Fred he is a great guy and he will personally answer the phone and he will try to answer your questions but please be serious , his time is valuable , Try that with any other amp company good luck .Thanks again Bibl

Klingt extrem gut, der Amp. Das mit der Klangregelung ist untypisch für "marshall" Type Amps. Das findet man bei "blackface" mäßigen Amps, eine typische Twin Klangregelung: alle Regler zu=kein Sound.

@@Biblrocks Yeah, seriously. There must be a lot of empty space inside of it. It's not a big problem for me, not at all, but I'm just wondering, why make something bigger than it needs to be? A lot of heads are like that, always with the box wider than the chassis. /13 went up instead of out. It's just interesting to see something different. I'd guess the design is about visual proportion, like, someone thought it would look better taller. I don't know. Anything bigger is going to be harder to carry, and taller might not fit in a cabinet of heads.

I need a new amp cause my Carlton amp isn't working properly anymore. It's from the 80s and is transistor at 60watts I think. I need a new amp but only can afford very budget. What amp sounds like the Divided by 13 but is very cheap? My guitar is a Squire model my cousin sold me which was from a catalogue from many yrs ago but i can only afford a new amp if it's cheap. I want to play in a band as I can play so many songs and have developed good techniques like Economy and alt picking ect.. I can even play a coupe of pieces off Vinnie Moores Time Odyssey album. My cousin has many guitars and amps but he won't sell anything to me with affordable price...lol He has about 20 guitars and some are like £1500 gulp and upwards. I want a natural sound with higher gain to nice cleans for use with my chorus pedal which I love the sound of chorus especially when it's slightly wider and just chorusing. Even second hand Marshalls like the Hybrid types have gone up a lot in price with inflation so I can't afford like the Marshall hybrid combos anymore. I want something very reliable because I will be in a band at some point. Any ideas?
