Well, here we are - the jungle dra- i mean the dragon of rebirth himself. This lore dump is gonna be less about Yharon himself - rather, it will dwell more into the species of Auric dragons and his master - Yharim. So, to start, Auric Dragons. They were creatures that roamed and protected Terraria during the so-called Draconic Era. Due to their uncomparable strength, they were treated as deities by the world's residents. That was the case, until something with unexpected power attacked them - this being was the Moon Lord, at the full of his power. He managed to slay many dragons during his ambush, even severely injuring the King of Dragons, Zeratros. He was ultimately cut in half and left as a withering husk inside of the moon. This event would later lead to an event that ultimately doomed the Dragons... Because of the way souls of the Auric Dragons, or simply Auric Souls, interact with Terrarians. It was possible to absorb them and gain incomprehensible power as a result. This was discovered by a monk, a member of the cult which worshipped the Dragons. This monk, who, after absorbing the soul of the weakened King of Dragons, named themselves Xeroc, the First God, becoming one of the strongest known creatures in the Calamity mod's universe. Nobody knows if what he did was for malicious purpose, however it caused other Terrarians to follow in his steps, absorbing Auric Souls and becoming gods themselves (examples being Providence, the Slime God, Silva). Around the time when almost all Auric Dragons have been wiped out, we get to the main character, and antagonist, of the story - Yharim. Yharim, being part of the dragon cult, was destined to absorb the soul of the last remaining Auric dragon. This dragon later grew to become Yharon. He was allowed to grow, because Yharim refused to absorb his soul and was sentenced to death for it, by being thrown into lava, alongside Yharon. Ultimately, the dragon hatched faster in the burning heat and saved his future master, although it caused him to suffer immense damage and threatened his life. Since this event, Yharim has set his ultimate goal - to wipe out every god that absorbed an Auric soul in order to avenge the dragons. He crafted a legion of followers and workers for him over time to assist him in his quest, however this ultimately caused his downfall and caused his pure-hearted actions to become corrupt and cruel. He employed the Devourer, who gave him monstrous ideas on how to expand his empire, destroying his empathy to bits. He employed Draedon, who has destroyed the world of Terraria for his own curiosity. He employed Calamitas when she was simply a little girl. And by the end, all he had left was Yharon, his closest friend. And yet, by the end, Yharon's life has come to an end as he went ahead to protect his corrupt master. Although it is possible for him to revive, it would happen hundreds of years after Yharim has already passed on. Now, there are only two threats left before you can put an end to the Godseeker and his destructive crusade. The Witch and The Inventor.

I still personally prefer fighting Yharon twice with the Regen phase. It fits better with the roar of the jungle dragon, so much cooler as well.

Fun fact, Roar of the Jungle dragon, which is the song that plays at Yharon's second phase and, is him arguing with his master Yharim about how he's trying to win against you the player. He keeps on trying to beat you despite his master yelling at him that this is a fight he cannot win
