People would hate on him, or demand that he put out new music faster, generally just giving him a hard time. I think there might have been a SWAT-ing attempt on his house, but even without that, it was just a massive double-sided harassment campaign that caused him mental health issues.

fun little fact about the Aquatic Scourge...you can encounter it during pre-hardmode. If you were, saaaaay, fishing in the Sulphurous Sea you could be in for a hilarious surprise. Thing is though its not aggressive at spawn. It'll loop around below you...watching you. So long as you don't intentionally deal damage to it, it'll be there almost as if its curious of you.

Yes you can do it in PHM. Same with Leviathan and Anahita. However, you kinda have to stack all into movement as the boss will essentially one tap you.

the thing about the calamity mod music is that they really shine when put in context with the fights - Guardian of the former seas: you're literally fighting the dried-up husk of a giant seas worm sliding along the dunes dodging it - 1NF3S+@+!ON: you're literally fighting a crab covered in parasitic mushrooms throwing spores and snapping at you - Blood Coagulant: you're fighting a flesh... thing that has worms burrowing through it and crawling out to defend their hosts - Hive mind: you fight a giant brain thing throwing corrupt chunks at you teleporting around - Return to slime: you fight 2 giant monstrous slimes controlled by a small fusion of slimes while they attempt to squish you I could go in-depth about how each piece of music supports the boss it plays for but the moment that truly awestruck me is the moment fighting *Providence* she stopped in the middle of my arena and then particles of light started shooting out of her in a circular pattern all the while the music *DROPPED.* I was certain at that moment that the fight was carefully made so that that one attack would be perfectly tied to the music. I've only recently started playing the mod maybe a couple months ago and I still haven't done everything there is to do but the music is by far one of the best I've heard of any *games* (this shit ain't a mod it's an expansion pack) EVER.

It's not strictly from the point of view of the final boss. The first verse and the first movement of the symphony is, the second verse and movement is from the point of view of the player and the third from an outside perspective. The fourth movement has no lyrics. To add on to this every single track on the ost is an emotional piece that describes the feelings of the bosses, they are ALL from the boss' point of view and the only exception to this is Stained, Brutal Calamity.

Btw Roar of the Jungle Dragon is from the perspective of the dragon. He’s singing to his former master about the futility of trying to stop the player since the player can die over and over and still come back but he only needs to die once and it’s a rap

I love it when games recognise the player’s special ability of respawning. Utter relentlessness that surpasses mortality is such an insane power and it’s so cool that it’s an actual recognised thing that makes the player unique and stronger than anything else. You could have insane weaponry beyond comprehension but in the end that player will win through attrition and unrelenting energy

Storms before the catastrophes plays after beating moonlord, so the "you defeated a boss and you're triumphing, only to find out that there's bigger evil ahead" it's pretty accuarte with the fact that you beat moonlord wich is the last vanilla boss, and now you have to fight the real powerful beings now

Recently stumbled across you and Loosky's playthrough and came back to watch this. If you're curious about the bells, they've become kind of a meme in the community. Because of Dokuro's extensive use of them, they've become known as the "Calamity Bells" and are often used to signify the presence of a powerful being. It's more or less the motif of Calamity, and dare I say the leitmotif of Yharim himself. A personal theory is that they signify all that has been touched by the hand of the Jungle Tyrant. As iirc the bells are present even in some peaceful tracks.

the boss from the "cosmic disgust" music has its own addon mod for calamity now, it is called "catalyst mod", it also gives him another music for a second phase and a bunch of new stuff, one of the most beautiful bossfights i ever seen in modded terraria, so if you guys want to fight him in your playthrough you can, also be careful because he can only be fought BEFORE moon lord, after that he will be locked and impossible to summon

yo, for the song 'cosmic disgust' there is a mod that re-adds the boss called 'catalyst mod' but the boss is now a superboss that's really hard. just wanted to say because it re-adds the theme but idk if its multiplayer compatible. edit: also the tracks become so much better (especially roar of the jungle dragon and catastrophes before the calamity) once you fully understand the lore of yharim (the main villain/upcoming final boss) and yharon.

Not sure if it was a malice mode or deathmode.... in 1 of those providence had adaptatice defence so you will finish only on a certain time like if you deal 100k damage you would deal only like 5k instead so maybe thats what makes it always hit the certain part of the song during the bullet hell phas..... an edit cuz i forgot to mention by the lore yharon and tyrant yharim(yharon's master) are childhood friends and yharon gave away his life to open the eyes of his dear friend and hopefully save him

Un dato muy interesante es que la supuesta canción de Supreme Calamitas, en realidad es NUESTRA canción y la letra de la canción se refiere a ella tratando de detenernos por el miedo de que otra persona muera en contra de yharim (aquel que causó toda la calamidad) Cada etapa representa su manera de sentir y la aceptación siendo el final es cuando le ganamos y ella se da cuenta que somos suficientemente fuertes de enfrentarnos a yharim rindiendose y mostrando respeto por el protagonista. Otro dato curioso vendría siendo que se agregó a la historia que Draedon trató de replicar el poder de la bruja sin éxito alguno creando así la falsa calamitas. Draedon creó a los mecánicos (Esqueletrón Mayor, Los Gemelos y el Destructor) y sus mejoras que son la máxima creación actualmente, los Exo Mecánicos (XS-01 Artemis, XS-03 Apollo, XM-05 Thanatos y XF-09 Ares.) La escala de poder de calamity está completamente zafada en la que el Devorador de Dioses vendría escalando a Galáctico. Supreme Calamitas llega a ser universal, y pues ya veremos como será yharim muy pronto (en 2 o 3 años mas) Otro dato interesante es que yharon el fénix renaciente es en realidad la mascota de Yharim. Yharon es el último de su raza la cual fue salvado por Yharim haciendose su mascota, pero Yharim fue consumido por el poder y se corrompió, haciendose que Yharon termine quedando solo. Básicamente Yharim es como nosotros con la diferencia de que el fue corrompido por su inconmensurable poder.
