The contracts in free agency in the show this year is so broken, it absolutely ruins immersion. Players like Soto signing for 20 million a year... So stupid.

Not in my franchise I am rhe tigers and signed Gleyber year one for 5 years 60 million, the simmed to the last day Soto and Scott were left and both signed to astros for 120 million!!

It only starts to happen when the CPU teams have all maxed their budgets out. I think the problem with franchise are the team budgets, as they don't make sense over the long term. This mode would drastically improve with just that being overhauled along with trade logics. Limiting it to 3 players per trade is also limiting how dynamic the trade system could be. This game is lacking in so many ways, but its still the best combination of play and simulation available. I keep trying to get into OOP Baseball but the learning curve seems ridiculous, and I cannot get past it so far.
