If that RAT is like on the ERJ 175, once it’s deployed, it can’t be retracted until it’s on the ground and a mechanic turns the blades in the right position to go back in the opening.

Worked as an A&P mechanic back in the 80's at LAX for TWA and worked on L10LL's . . while doing a "A" check on an aircraft I walked into one that was deployed and got 6 stiches lol

​@desertodavid don't mean to burst your bubble but if you used both your eyes and common sense, you would be able to zoom the video in and see the blade spinning right below the wing.
