Like how he's worked with Cillian for two decades, Caine, Anne Hathaway, Oldman etc. He was incredible in Oppenheimer, he adds so much nuance to the characters he plays, to be THE face of a character more so than anyone else in my opinion but to be able do these roles and seamlessly fall into his character is impressive.

RDJ was perfect in this role. This movie was a perfect Nolan film. I know some people are disappointed because they didn't get a Fincher style story telling from this film. But for me, it was perfect, minus the "romance" scenes...it was uncharacteristic of Nolan. Edit: I watched Schindler’s List for the first time this weekend. I was wrong in stating that the Romance is a minus. The sex scene looked similar to the one in Schindler’s List, in-fact I noticed that Nolan took a lot of inspiration from Spielberg’s film.
