in my experience the plate solve issues come from bright stretched regions of a final image. try changing the projection model in pix image solver around, distortion model on/off, detection scale reduction. if none of that works the painful way is to solve one of the raw images with less bright stars / screen stretch only applied and if that works carry the solve through the channel integration process (solve applied to green channel). limits you obvs to non pixelmath combinations (unless there's code for that that I dont know about?) nice image, best of luck with the search!

Thanks for that, I never thought to try the RAW data, when stacking in PixInsight I have the image solver turned off. It might be time to turn that on.
