So I watching another corvette KZbinr, and thought to myself, I haven't seen a video from you in a while. So I put you in the search bar and scrolled down until I saw the " I sold the Callaway " video. I clicked on the video and watched it till the end. I'm sorry you didn't have the time to finish it. But like you said, it's going to a good home. You have great C4 content, and I would recommend your videos to anyone to watch. God Bless you and your family

Hi Chris. I've enjoyed all of your C5 videos. I've learned a lot. I will be 70 in October and I have no interest in wrenching on my cars. Back in 1969 ever since I got my driver's license, I took pride in being able to do almost all my own work. I didn't have the funds to pay someone even if I wanted to. Now, I won't even do my own oil changes. Now, I will pay someone to do the repairs and service. The most recent project I did myself was installing plugs and wires in my 2003 C5 LS1. It took way longer than it should have. Anyway, I can completely relate to burning out on car work.

Myself...I'll be 70 this with the health issues I've had I just cannot do the things I wanted to do anymore. I was ready to buy a C5 project car earlier this year, then had to make a bunch of repairs to my '99 Chrysler 300 that just wore me out! Had to face reality then that I'm not the 19 year old mech I once was. Hit me pretty hard.

Glad to see the Callaway go to a good home. I have said this before, but it was a shame that your channel didn't "take off" like I am sure you wanted it too. You made some of the best, if not THE best content on upgrading a C5 Corvette. Unfortunately, KZbin is pretty much a full time job, but if it doesn't get off the ground, it just doesn't pay the bills. Good luck with the karts, and once again, THANK YOU for all the help and inspiration you gave me with my C5.

_Am a diehard Chevy guy for sure. Sad to see that your Callaway wasn't finished, but in the same vane, good to see the car going to another Callaway owner/collector. I know you didn't post more about the cost involved in maintaining(and bringing back to life this C4), but having your 2021 Chevy Silverado free and clear makes me smile. Great job Chris. Over the years I've owned seven fourth gens so I completely understand the precarious situation these cars can put us in financially. (In the end game did you lose out on a truckload of cash post-completion of your 1990 Callway Corvette, probably)._

I think it was SUPER smart to recognize that you're just not gonna get to a project car, and to sell it to someone who will. SO MANY project cars sit around for decades, because the owners mistakenly believe that they'll "get to it someday" and then never do, at which point they can be complete write-offs. As cool as that Callaway is, you clearly have a lot of other fulfilling things to enjoy your time with. Wish you the best Chris!

Not gonna lie, this hit hard. Not because of you per se, but because I am there now as well. All of my time, money, and passion has gone since kids. That isn't bad to say either. I love my family more than anything. But I miss my youth, my careless spending, and the ability to work on a car for 15 hours strait if I wanted to. LOL We all grow up and it is right in your face when you realize it. Congrats on the truck. I personally would only buy that exact truck/model if I wasn't so hung up on the Cybertruck and the fact I will buy it when my order gets filled.

Hi Chris, i figured you'd be selling that Callaway thing soon or late. Passion is passion, it's good when it comes, it sucks when it goes, so i understand your point if you decided to give-up with the Callaway project. What made this video worth to watch, was hearing the wonderful sound of your C5 again, the only reason for me to have had followed this channel for 3 years. I unsuscribed when that red "thing" came in and i won't certainly subscribe back to know about your new truck (if that is going to be the content of your channel), which i don't care anything about. Thanks for all the videos you've made about the C5, your passion was great back then and made me fall in love with that car. Good luck for everything.

Hi Chris, I totally get it. When life's changes happen, we dont always have a chance or the wherewithal to keep some of our toys or hobbies. I've been a rifle & pistol reloader for 27 years, and like you with the 'Vettes, I did it for fun. Well...a couple years ago, I suddenly realized it wasn't fun any longer. It had become a chore. So I stopped it. My health taking a serious downturn was part of it. Plus, I just wasn't shooting as much, so I didn't need 1 million rounds of ammo either. I've since picked back up with loading a few calibers, just occasionally and as needed, and it is fun once again. Maybe you will decide at a later date to do some more KZbin project cars, if so, great. If not, the main thing is for you to be happy. I will miss your Corvette postings for sure, but it's not the end of the world. Good luck and enjoy your family, Bud!

I was beginning to wonder since I hadn’t seen any blogs on it. I kinda warned you about this and that’s okay. You only have so much time to divide and priories take precedence

I’d skip the cold air intake and exhaust for your new truck. If you want loud noises go drive the Vette! Save your money for karting! Plus, some “cold air intakes” really aren’t that cold unless you datalog IATs to verify.

Agree with the others Chris. Sad about the Callaway & wish you’d called me. Anyway appreciate all your work particularly the C4 stuff. Stay well..👍
