Dude! I just worked up my Karnstein Solar build yesterday, and it is soooo good. Originally, I’ve been focused on glaives combined with Karnstein, but the new finisher giving restoration x2 puts this exotic over the top.

It runs pretty well with Banner of War titans. Finishers for Curex3 and Restorationx3. Procs the origin trait on the sub machine gun. Sword and shotty are great for close encounters. This build eats Warlord Ruins encounter 1 for breakfast. Im not sure how well it scales into late game stuff. Build could vary wildly.

I've seen the Sunbracers build with other streamer. It's annoying because you need a melee kill, then consume the grenade, then dive to the ground and have the grenade killing something... Karnstein really gives you that great window for Restoration without that much effort, a very solid choice for those who don't want to be multitasking.

Really refreshing that you weren’t swapping loadouts and kept things simple for the average player. The Karnsteins was a great pick to get easier Resto than other ways/options out there. Enjoyed the content. One thing I would say, if you’re going to do this type of content again, and I hope you do, is to perhaps just go through your loadout - Aspects, Weapon perks etc. GG’s on the clear and a great vid 👍

I use Karnstein with Void and Glaive. Devour + Resto + the fragment that gives you overshield if you kill something while your shield is down. Pretty fun.

In this dungeon situation it’s good because you can always proc surrounded but you have to be really careful to not blow yourself up

Surrounded procs a lot since the boss spawns in psions when the mini phases start, plenty of fuel for envious assassin, and the short damage phases before the "Peak" makes GLs burst damage more appealing than a rocket launcher's. *On the flip side,* though, It's terrible for LoWG(2nd boss). low total damage at base, can only reliably proc surrounded on 2/4 plates, and the damage phase lasts so long that you could easily spend your reserves on a heavy that can do more sustained damage.

Sunshot is a must imo on final boss. If you shoot the middle eye on the boss, it blows up all of the eyes. Pluss the scorch gives you a lot of melee energy.

I know he said he isn't using meta stuff but that GL is absolutely busted for THIS dungeon. You are surrounded all of the time and the bosses are big and slow, so thats a free 47 percent damage boost on your heavy. Plus now that you get restore x2 on a Karnstein finisher and Sunshot obliterates everything you are always healing.

You say he wouldn't spawn in the 2nd one for first floor on final boss but he did..you just didn't capture. That short phase of damage was because you didn't capture when you were standing in the middle of both. It Might've been hard to see because you're in the moment.

@@lyle7836it’s the solo operative artifact mod. Buffs all your damage by 15 percent when running solo. That’s only 2 percent less than 2 surge mods. Combine this with radiant which also buffs you by 20-25 percent, while also being in a well and yeah lol. If he stacked all that with surge mods he would’ve done even more
